Donald Trump gets 25 percent of Iowa likely Republican Caucus participants in a too-close-tocall race with Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas who is at 23 percent, double his support from four weeks ago, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. Dr. Ben Carson has 18 percent, with Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida at 13 percent. This compares to the results of an October 22 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University showing Carson at 28 percent, with 20 percent for Trump, Rubio at 13 percent and Cruz at 10 percent.
Comparisons are to the Quinnipiac October poll for Iowa
“Is that you at the bottom of the well, Jeb? Don’t worry, Lassie is running to get help!” Timmy
Anti-establishment candidates have 66%.
Trump/Cruz tossup is the likely scenario.
Socialist Quinnipiac U. has a long history of BS polls.
Maybe Jeb could practice for the next debate by eating at the kiddie table this Thanksgiving.
There’s nothing topsy-turvy about it. This is a wishful thinking poll and it looks ridiculous compared to the CBS poll showing Trump up 9.
No, there isn't. Both Cruz and Carson have had underlying strengths in Iowa (like strong ground games with experienced Iowa leadership) that was ignored until the MSM and RINO pundits had reason to 'suddenly' discover and hype it.
