Right. Poland is not America.
Why don’t you put that in your tagline? Einstein.

No worries, you are on your game tonight, tovarish. I just need to keep track of which of my counter-arguments you ignore.

I'll vote for Trump (with some misgivings) if he gets the nod. I want Cruz, also.

I couldn't figure out your angle, that's all. The pro-Russians pollute these threads to the point where no one can stay on topic.

If you check the news you’ll see the US sent F-22s to Turkey. Best I can surmise it was an admission that Russian air superiority aircraft are better than the Turks’ F-16s. The F-22s would possibly be used to defend Turkey from the Russian jets.

Escalation. Not good imo.

Standard is radio calls on Guard to warn.

In war zone approaching a fighter one does not rejoin off the wing and “escort”

Warn, then shoot. . .especially if violating sovereign airspace.

Do not confuse with intercepts we have with Russian bombers lumbering along in the ADIZ. Entirely different.

The Russian government has been violating the airspace of NATO members quite a bit over the last few years. The Turkish government, unlike other NATO members, looks to be willing to back its warnings up.

It’ll be open season over Syria now for all NATO aircraft.

“These damned Turks are something else”

They ARE ISIS, and they are making a great deal of money from supporting it.

Yup. . .and the Turks don’t have an F-16 facility where they assemble F-16’s for delivery to Egypt.

The Russians have been assisting assad from the air to retake some land at the north western border from some Turkmen tribes. These are no jihadis, certainly not isis. The targeting of the Turkmen must be designed to draw NATO into the fight. Putin is very astute and has no love for the west, just remember the whole Ukraine/ sanctions thing.

The Russians are the only ones operating in Syria "legally," invited in by the legitimate government of that country. Everybody else there, including the U.S., is waging an illegal, undeclared war.

Russia would be well in its rights to move its S-300 batteries up to the Turkish borders and start shooting at the Turks now, and U.S. planes as well, in self-defense, since NATO has officially fired first.

It is curious why we did that. Other than the fact our F-15Cs can REALLY reach out and touch someone (type of radar and missiles), well beyond Turkish F-16’s capability, it is odd. . .
