Author and human rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali argued President Obama's position on radical Islam is what he believes is strategic, but "it's a strategy that has failed" on Monday's "Hannity" on the Fox News Channel.
Ali stated, "I'm always surprised to see people of authority here saying, what we see, these terrorist acts, the subjugation of women, the hatred of Jews and Christians, it has nothing to do with Islam. I mean, I watch that with amazement. I obviously have come to understand that it is a strategic position, that if we say these things, maybe the Islamist extremists will not get their way, but it's just not true."
She added, "We are self-intimidating. I don't think that we are being forced by outside powers. Our president is not being forced by outside powers to take the position that he's taking. He has taken it after a lot of thought. He thinks it's strategic. I just think it's a strategy that has failed. He's not the only one who tried it. All Western establishment leaders have insisted we are not at war with Islam. It's absolutely true. We are not at war with Islam. we're not waging war on Islam. That has -- that is absolutely true. But, within Islam, and using Islamic theology, Islamic tradition, Islamic philosophy, we have hundreds of thousands of people who are at war with us."

So did Lebanon in their Cedar Revolution. Jordan is also fighting the good fight against ISIS.
Bizarrely, ISIS/Al Qaeda/Muslim Brotherhood/HAMAS are also at war against Shi’ites in Iraq and Iran, plus a lot of Kurds.
And that brings us to Assad in Syria, who is directly fighting ISIS. Obama wants Assad gone.

I suspect he's being weak on going after ISIS intentionally in order to open the door for his comrade Vladimir Putin to step in, do the job, then set up permanent base and grab control of the region. Because he's gone out of his way to grant Putin everything he's wanted on missile defense and nukes, setting the stage for them to reemerge as a global superpower. Obama and many around him were loyal supporters of the Soviet Union. And KGB/FSB Putin is basically out to restore it.
Donald Trump slammed President Obama Thursday on TODAY for failing to take a stronger line against President Vladimir Putin in dealing with Ukraine, saying he feared Obama would now make up for lost time with imprudent moves to "show his manhood."
The real estate mogul and reality-TV star, who has criticized Putin for sending military troops into Crimea, said Obama must now take fierce steps to prevent the situation from escalating further.

People keep refering to “O’s” ‘strategy’.
I guess I missed the news that day... I have never seen a ‘strategy’.
I have seen a lot of ‘make it up as you go along’; ‘wag the dog’; ‘blame someone else’; ‘screw your allies’; ‘lie to the American people’, etc. Yea... I saw a LOT of THAT... but no, not any ‘strategy’ per se.
Hirsi has misidentified Hussein’s strategy.

Obama’s Strategy on Islamic Extremism Is Failing Just As It Was Intended To.
There’s not a single damned thing that Obama’s done that was not meant to harm the US either directly or indirectly.
Were it not for the weak, spineless, effete, doormat Republican political establishment elites Obama would be a complete failure, and America and the world would be better for it.
