Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN)Donald Trump may be the clear Republican front-runner in New Hampshire but at least one member of his party is saying he shouldn't even be on the ballot.

Former state party chairman Fergus Cullen, who has been an outspoken critic of Trump's, on Monday challenged the businessman's status within the party.

"It is my belief that Mr. Trump must present evidence that he is a registered member of the Republican Party because his views, expressed over decades, are inconsistent with the Republican Party platform and the Republican Party of New Hampshire's statement of principles and bylaws," Cullen said in a letter of complaint to the New Hampshire Ballot Law Commission.

In order to be on the ballot in New Hampshire candidates must be a registered member of either the Democrat or Republican party.

On November 4th Trump filed paperwork at the New Hampshire State House to appear on the ballot as a Republican. New York voter information shows that Trump is currently registered in the state as a Republican.

Cullen now has gotten his 15 seconds of fame, and will get a pat on the back from the gope for being a loyal foot soldier in their campaign to help destroy the country along with Hillary Clinton.

Yup. The Uniparty is desperate to take Trump down.

They’re terrified he’ll be the nominee.

So I’m not surprised they’re resorting to technicalities to accomplish what they can’t do at the ballot box.

This was the statement NHGOP Chairman said:

“It is not the role of the Republican Party to determine eligibility beyond verifying party affiliation, and as Mr. Trump is a registered Republican in the state of New York, he is eligible to compete in New Hampshire’s presidential primary. We do not support any effort to challenge his filing,” Zona said in a statement.” http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/23/politics/donald-trump-new-hampshire-ballot-eligibility/index.html

Was Sanders challenged for being a Socialist?

Last I checked, Sanders isn't a registered Republican nor Democrat.

They're just hellbent on Jeb or Rubio so Hitlery can win aren’t they.

Never forget that elections are a business for many, especially those up the party food chain. Media buys, telemarketing, GOTV efforts, mailers - that's a big portion of the nearly 2 billion which will be spent on this election.

A Trump candidacy won't follow the standard formula, and thus, will dig deeply into the pockets of political ad buyers.

Politics is about making money. Loads of it.

Most of the Republican politicians have been inconsistent with the Republican Party platform. At least the one I remember the as the Republican Party Platform. However, they have been very consistent with the Democratic Party platform. So what is your point Fergus Cullen? That he is not a weak enough person to be a member of the Republican Party that has been slowly dismantled by the establishment?
