Thank you for posting that. I saw it on Twitter yesterday and for some reason people just ignore the fact that the Wash.Post reported it. Yes, the numbers may be off a tad from what Trump said, but the main point is it happened!
Big Media lies each and every night, without fail. They’re pathological.
Trump?
Not so much.
I bet Dylan Matthews is a peter puffer...
Why don’t they cover the Clinton and Obama lies?
Lying? It’s the government controlled media that is the Father of lies.
Dylan Matthews looks like a Star Trek alien
In another example of the fact that true journalism is deader than a doornail, a brief search on Google, on my part of course, yielded these two interesting tidbits. This is without any special journalistic credentials on my part, nor do I have access to news archives from 2001, as I am sure our “journalists” do.

The last one was reported by Anderson Cooper, but apparently he’s experiencing some form of amnesia this week.
Clearly, the MSM has zero interest in reporting, but only in smearing and misrepresenting. The only thing they will “report” is anything that furthers their political agenda.
I think there is one difference between O’s lies and Hillary’s lies.
O actually believes some of his lies.
Every lie of Hillary’s she knows is a lie and is fully intentional.
Partisan Media Shill alert!
Trump is going to be the best friend of head-shrinkers.
Liberals will be living in their psychoanalyst’s offices for 8 long years.
“His statements aren’t false the way that, say, Marco Rubio’s claim that he can cut taxes by $12 trillion and still balance the budget is false. “
I know this isn’t the main point of discussion; but, it does exemplify “progressive” thinking on the subject of truth and lies.
Imagine if (say) Hillary were to say that she could increase spending by $12 trillion and still balance the budget (you don’t really have to imagine this, it’s essentially the bastardized version of “Keynesianism” that’s become gospel to leftist politicians throughout the “west”). This Vox ‘reporter’ and his ilk would all sing Hillary’s praises as an economic genius. When you pass through the looking glass, liberal “truths” become conservative “lies”, and vice versa.
Pretty sure those organizers moved the celebrations into the mosques and out of sight when they began to feel the backlash.
The mendacious Media cannot understand honesty and has only contempt for truth.
Let me know when they call out Hillary Clinton for lying & obstructing justice and then I might give a damn!
Dylan Matthews is one of the staff members at Vox, an online media venture along with Ezra Klein, Melissa Bell, and Matthew Yglesias. Matthews is the son of Jim Matthews, creator of Fetch.

...this guy looks like he couldn't even get lucky as the aphrodisiac salesman at a Nymphomaniacs Anonymous meeting...
Pretty dumb to quibble stupidly about the numbers when many witnessed the celebrations in New Jersey. So where was all the media concern about Obama’s lying for the last 7 to 8 years?
Matthews, a fresh-out-of-Harvard writer for Ezra Kleinâs Wonkblog at the Post, is one of a new breed of journalists: the young, bean-counting, charts-and-graphs-obsessed, policy geek. Mostly found on the left side of the political spectrum, their ranks include Slateâs Matt Yglesias, the New York Timesâ Nate Silver, and, of course, Klein himself. They donât usually crunch the numbers themselves (the poll-model-building Silver’s an exception). Instead they report on those that do, from a perilous perch somewhere between academic objectivity and issue advocacy.
“Until May 2012 I was an undergraduate at Harvard College, where I studied moral and political philosophy (though Harvard being itself, my degree is technically in âsocial studiesâ), wrote a regular column for The Crimson, served as president of Perspective Magazine, and was a DJ for the underground rock department as well as tech director for WHRB.”
