On this one, I’m giving Trump a pass as I describe above - imagine how hard it was for us to watch, let alone being in New York as your hometown...and hearing or seeing a news story of people celebrating. It would burn in your mind - so maybe it wasn’t thousands...but it might as well have been - the emotional response Trump would have had would have been just as bad if he had been dozens or thousands...people celebrating such devastation.

“On the one hand, he demands coverage. “

And just because he wants coverage, the news shows give it to him?

it has nothing to do with their greed (ratings), yeah right.

In Newspeak, a ‘lie’ is any statement that contradicts the media narrative.

A tad off?

I, of course, was being facetious, but the fact remains there were those cheering in Jersey and perhaps other places as well. The Washington Post wrote about it, but of course all the fact checkers never found that source, and that even includes the fact checkers from the W.P. .

True, Trump has a tendency to exaggerate and overstate the obvious at times, but he's a passionate man and even though that certainly does not excuse his "mis-speaks" it does help to explain them.

Bottom line is he's a "doer", and the last thing we would ever get from him is business as usual as we've had for more years than I care to remember.
