Do Dems Have Much More to Lose in This Election Than the GOP?
ABC News ^ | November 21, 2015 | By MATTHEW DOWD

So when you look at the various scenarios for the 2016 general election you reach the following conclusion: the upside for the GOP is much better than any upside for the Dems, and the downside for the Dems is much, much worse than any downside for the GOP.

And for the Dems, any positive election result is totally contingent on winning the presidential race, while if the GOP loses the presidential race they still control the House and have majority of governors and state legislative bodies. Today the GOP controls more than 30 governors offices and state legislatures.

If the Dems suffer their reasonable worse case scenario, the aftermath of the November 2016 elections will make what happened to the GOP in 2012 look like a tea party. They will control no power at the federal level, and be in minority throughout the 50 states as a whole. If the GOP needed to go through soul searching after 2012, then the Dems will go through the dark night of the soul as St. John of the Cross described many moons ago. The handwringing and interparty battles will be a site to behold. Fasten your seat belts if that worse case scenario happens to the Dems.

The democrat party label is a lie. They are the party of wild-eyed socialists and as such they need to suffer greatly, fatally.

I say, let the Bolsheviks eat the Mensheviks.

We may very well see the current versions of Uncle Joe Stalin killing his nemesis Leon Trotsky.

Yes, lets get the popcorn ready

Nothing to worry about here. The GOPe will ensure a true conservative candidate does not win the presidency.

So perfectly positioned for a GOP President to see rising interest rates, inflation, unemployment, etc. The next guy/gal is setup for failure.

” . . . if the GOP loses the presidential race they still control the House and have majority of governors and state legislative bodies.”

Experience suggests GOP control of the House since 2011 has been a non factor with respect to the Democrat Party. Obama’s agenda has been fully funded every year and trillions have been added to the national debt. Boehner as speaker wasn’t much different than Pelosi.

“...rising interest rates, inflation, unemployment, etc. The next guy/gal is setup for failure.”

This is the typical pattern, and it can be seen in other countries worldwide. The socialist parties on, gives “free stuff” away, completely screws up everything, voters see the cliff coming up just before the election, they vote for the conservative, painful corrections/belt tightening/austerity measures are taken, and somehow, it’s the conservative’s fault when this happens.

I’ve seen gas at $1.85/gallon today. The economy now has low oil prices “baked in” - notice that prices haven’t actually fallen, and wages haven’t gone significantly in the last few years. When oil goes back up, and it will - all prices will go up - a lot. This is virtually certain to happen within the next 4-8 years.

The bad news is that there are too many RINOs at the national level.

The good news, which is greater than the bad news, is that the Republican electorate has FINALLY figured out the GOPe and is DONE with it.

The Progressive Liberal Democrat/Rino Communist Uni-Party and their minions in the media have everything to lose in the next election.

We will see a viciousness from them never seen before, they have spent decades corrupting the election process for just such a time as this when their absolute control will severely and legitimately challenged.

CRUZ 2016... with great appreciation for Donal J Trump!

Which is precisely why the GOP/RNC is doing everything they can to take Trump down.

Trump is a bigger threat to the Uniparty than they have ever faced.

The R jersey Democrats will vote for the D jersey Democrat if they have to.
