In August, as part of an ambitious plan to expand renewable energy to households across America, President Obama called on all U.S. mayors to publicly commit to a local climate action plan. The President set a goal of at least 100 U.S. cities signing the Compact of Mayors prior to the Paris UN climate change meeting (“COPâ€).
Today, that goal has not only been met, but surpassed.

As I've posted many times, Global Warming legislation is about facilitating a weaker, more diminished America. A by product of industrial production is the release of carbon into the atmosphere as a result of energy use. In America's economic heyday we were utilizing 40% of the world's energy supply and the proportionate amount of carbon yet to be proven to have any deleterious effect on this planet. Liberals and America-haters took notice of this and concocted the greatest conspiracy of all time. By left wing shrieks of the Sky is Falling, The Earth is Boiling due to increased carbon in the air, they have legislated less carbon output for America through much diminished industrial production the consequences of which means the end of America, America's economic might, military.

“Renewable energy” that relies on solar panels and wind flow is a chimera, a phantom that shall never come up to the potential claimed for it.
Now, it there were a project that would place a light-collection photoelectric panel array in geosynchronous orbit, and always orientated to sunlight, with a system to beam down the generated power to the earth’s surface, that would sharply increase the reliability, but at a horrendous cost in development and construction costs, not to say there may be some other environmental impacts that would make the design as undesirable as the disruption of migratory birds passing through those huge Cuisinarts called wind turbines.
Back here on earth, the short answer to more and quicker reliable surge load power would be natural-gas fired turbines driven generators. It may not be sufficiently “green” to please the enviro-weenies, but if wind or solar power is going to be built, the equal or greater power generation in the form of these same natural-gas fired generator stations is going to have to be built anyway. Just dispense with the so-called “alternative” renewable sources, and tap into the HUGE supply of natural gas reserves already known to exist on US territory.
And when that source gets stretched a little, then tap the huge reserves of Methane Hydrate that lies on the ocean floor in so many places all over the world, using that as the source of natural gas. The necessary technology will be available when we need it in the future.
By then, we should be able to synthesize natural gas directly from the underground veins of coal. We shall NEVER run out of carbon-based fuel for our energy needs. Even centuries from now.

My first reading of the headline is more accurate “A major millstone for Obama’s .....”
Trumps going to be elected and plain talk ‘em. Lifting the canvas and exposing the beetles, worms and roaches. That’s my fantasy. The reality is, conservatives have to stand up and shout down the idiocy in the most derisive terms.
But Trump is going to have to address the black race issue. I’m not talking black lives matter. He has to project some appeal upon them. The promise that opportunity is always there for them, but the Progressives hold them back under false promises or bankrupting promises.
I hear him bragging he’s going to win the latino and black vote, but he’s got to pitch them. He doesn’t have to compromise, just be inclusive in the description of success and opportunity.
What a combination to disconcert and panic the nerve-wracked Dems and the enemedia! The liberal TV pundits must be having a cow!

Trump is setting himself up now for the final push, methodically getting all his pieces in place. He thinks and works while we sleep. He knows what he's doin' and he has some great political minds working for him.
