I am west of Milwaukee about 12 miles from Lake Michigan. Only about 3 inches of snow.
Also only the latter part of November across most of southern Wisconsin.
Normally the first snow that sticks comes after Thanksgiving, though I have seen it open and the ground not yet frozen on the fifteenth of December. Remember, snow that comes this early is often gone long before winter is over. The ground is still warm enough so that the snow cover and snowbanks melt from the BOTTOM up.
Only when there is enough of a hard freeze to put six to twelve inches of frost in the ground, does the snow last and last until sometime in April
Lake Geneva, Wi...about 6 in I think. It’s wet, heavy snow and turning to brown slush fast.
I’m in Florida...........I need a fan and some new flip-flops.............
