I think a lot of these "white privilege" people get to places like Columbia, probably having been high achievers at their high school, and find out they are just one of thousands.

Some of them may have had grade inflation and find they are in completely over their heads, lacking the education foundation to compete academically.

So, they retreat back into their Black Studies bubble, make excuses for the obvious disparity, and take out their frustration on "white privilege."

Ironically (or not), Uganda being a former British protectorate, the education standards at her level (junior high?) would likely be rather more traumatic for her. Literacy in Uganda is (per Wiki) 67%. Compare that to the ghetto.

We seem to be raising a generation of spoiled babies. Reality will soon enough smack them in the face and they will be wholly unprepared to deal with it.
