BALCH SPRINGS (CBSDFW.COM) - A lawsuit filed by a Balch Springs man raises serious questions about the police investigation into the shootout that left nine bikers dead outside a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco.
That man claims that authorities are prosecuting him even though police admit that they have no evidence of his involvement.
It has been six months since that motorcycle trip to Waco left George Bergman out of money, out of work and in jail. The 48-year-old parked his bike at Twin Peaks and was walking to a restroom at the neighboring restaurant when he heard shots.

Oh I am pretty sure that he was getting somewhere.
It was just that the somewhere that he was getting to was that law enforcement panicked and then fired indiscriminately.
Attorney Tittle and any of his clients are not under any gag order that I know of.
I'm fairly certain that there has been only one gag order, and that one limited to Broden (and one of Broden's clients, Matthew Clendennen).
That same order is presently still under review in State court. I would guess there will likely be verdict rendered before Christmas, or some time in January at the latest.
In more than a few other cases over the years, Tittle has fought the law (enforcement officer's actions & practices) and Tittle has won.
I do sincerely that Tittle, and many other attorneys all take turns at ripping Renya's lips off (figuratively speaking, of course) followed by Renya stripped of his law license, and removed from office, literally speaking.
“Being there with a bad thought is the crime.”
We really don’t know what his thoughts were.
I’m curious. Unless we’re talking about national security, how does a “gag order” - regarding charges against ones self - pass constitutional muster?
It's complicated...and unless the materials are right in front of me --- I don't know the twists and turns all that well, in addition to myself not being a lawyer.
Left of the /s I did.
Detain!? Hell, they were all arrested and jailed until such time charges could be figgered out.

And there are so-called FReepers who actually REVEL at the continuing statist injustices occurring in Waco. These FReepers are, (IMHO), despicable people who I consider to be authoritarian statist supporters rather than decent constitutional conservatives.
