House Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)58% is ruling out making any cuts to Muslim immigration.
In an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Ryan declared that considering an applicant's religion would not be "appropriate" and would be fundamentally un-American---insisting "that's not who we are."

Ryan said, in part, that the reason the program could not simply be canceled is because, "We're a compassionate country. The refugees laws are important laws and we don't want terrorists to dictate how we run--whether we have a law or not."
While throughout the interview Ryan seemed to ground his argument on the premise that we cannot apply a religious test as a basis for admissions to the United States, both Rush Limbaugh and Andrew McCarthy have explained how U.S. law does, in fact, require a religious test when it comes to making considerations about visa issuances.

Ryan expresses the will of the Republican caucus. I don’t understand why all the fire is aimed at Ryan. The Republicans knew all about him before he was elected leader. We need a complete turnover next year for the House.

My final straw with Ryan was when he went on tour with the leftist/Open Borders Luis Gutierrez.....yeah, THAT Luis Gutierrez, who stood on the House floor and called all of the Governors who oppose Syrian *refugees* coming in to US, “despicable and cowardly”.
It has been no secret for some time that Paul Ryno is a RINO. If there was any question, one need only view his interview on 60 Minutes to see how "acomodating" (he'll consistently be grabbing his ankles) he wants to be for Hussein 0bama.
Ryan is up for reelection next year. He could get Cantored.

Well now we know what kind of speaker Ryan will be. Towing the “non offensive” line to oblivion. We can throw out any hope of standoffs with the Dems. About anything.
Shame. I really liked the guy in 2012. I thought he was the best part of Romney/Ryan. Seems he was just a more Irish Catholic version of Mittens.
I hope Paul Ryan goes to an interrupted Eagles of Death Metal concert.
