Well, it's a bit more complicated than that. Most of the interred "Japanese" were second and third generation American citizens, who didn't even speak Japanese.
The analogies these idiot politicians are trying to use are akin to apples and oranges.
A better example is the internment of German Americans who were actual members of the Nazi-backed American Bund.

Thanks, I agree. My point was that after we declared war against Germany and Japan, did we welcome immigrants from those countries? My guess is no. Therefore, why are we doing it now from radicalized Muslim countries? Unless, as the regime says, “We are not at war with them”. It is insane.
