I saw that and just thought, "Why would anyone teach that to their children?"
Just like there being 8 monsters and 2000 people in that concert hall and the 8 monsters racked up a score of almost 500 casualties and the 2000 racked up a score of 0 because they dared not get off their bellies and fight for their lives.
I'll NEVER understand that mode of thinking. NEVER.
M&P Shield 9mm
Don’t shoot that poor bike in the head light. #SidekicksMatter.

I’m still looking for a good deal on my first medium caliber weapon.
And much more lightweight than I (female shooter) had expected.
Ruger SCOUT rifle in 308..
This whole situation is starting to remind me of a particular Star Trek: DS9 episode.
In it, Bashir is dealing with a group of genetically enhanced individuals who have been SO enhanced they can’t operate in normal society.
Among those individuals is a brainiac who has “thought it out” and concluded the Alpha Quadrant has no chance of resisting eventual annexation by the Dominion.
To that end, brainiac takes it upon himself to facilitate their annexation by aiding the Dominion.
Sound familiar?
Eff the damned permits.
Yeah, that's a "gateway gun", for sure. Leads to the harder stuff. :-)
“The events of the past week have inspired me to make my first purchase.”
Go for it, whatever you can still buy in that state.
That's small caliber. Small caliber is .50 cal and below I'm looking for medium (ie. greater than .50 cal)
This 31/2 minute video may help explain WHY!

If you spend that much, why not simply go for an AR-10?
Less complexity IMHO..
Less complexity IMHO..
You mean like a rifle from Anzio Ironworks?
“Available in 14.5mm, 20mm, and new Anzio 20-50 calibers”
http://www.anzioironworks.com/MAG-FED-20MM-RIFLE.htm
SSK Industries has the 14.5mm JDJ:
“SSK has non Destructive Device exemption for a 14.5 MM (.585â³) cartridge. The 14.5 MM JDJ is based on the 50 BMG case. The neck is opened to accept the SSK 1173 grain bullet loaded over 235 grains of 5010 to fire form the case. Other bullets may become available in the near future. In the test rifle 100 yard accuracy hovers between .3 and .5â³ with this fireform load. Velocity is chronographed at 26â2700 feet per second with the 1173 grain bullet.”

Maybe a large caliber Howdah pistol then.
