Here are two videos of Russian airstrikes on the bad guys. I figured some Freepers would enjoy seeing this.

I believe the reason you will be given for those trucks not being targeted is that they are driven by civilians.

That us the excuse that President Obama is trying to push off on us but that is a lie.

The oil tanker caravans were a scheme by ISIS to provide a black market method to sell contraban Syrian oil under the table ignored to fund their Jihad because they could not use official pipelines.

The operation was set up, orgainized, manned and operated by ISIS directly.

The drivers were “civilians” only in the sense that were not members of a recognized conventional military, but then so were all of the rest of the ISIS Jihadi.

Obama has found the perfect Catch -22 excuse to deny military requests for authorization to attack targets.

ISIS Jihadi are by definition civilian terrorists who mingle with the general population and look just like the non combatant civilians.

When the military requests permission to bomb a site, Obama just says no on the pretext that the attack would kill civilians. Of course, the civilian is an ISIS terrorist but that is beside the point.

Obama’s other stock trick is to simply stall until the target is out of the area and safe from attack, and then give the OK for the attack

Comments on first video:

So many targets, so little time. Actually, it looks like most of the trucks were not damaged. Only a few.

Second video:

That is not really an oil refinery. it is tank farm. Oil burns, but is replaceable, and tanks are actually cheap. The heart of a refinery is the distillation and the catalytic cracking operation and I did not see any of that equipment being attacked.

Overall. Even though it was not maximum effectiveness, it was a whole lot better than Obama is allowing us to do. A lot of points for that.

Parting thought: No flying jihadis. Weasel Zippers used to have that all the time...

Bump post 24

To have hundreds of trucks parked in columns and rows like that shows that they have never been molested before. And Sultan Hussein has been bombing them for how long now? Still have never heard where this oil is going.

The Russkis need to use cluster bombs and put holes in the tanks of all of them.

Cluster bombs are more anti-personnel than anti-materiel. Trucks are not very hard targets, but the real cat's meow would be to cluster bomb the trucks while they had drivers in them.

The way we are going to defeat militant islam is when their fighters start coming back injured and maimed for life. Dead and they think they get 72 virgins, maimed and they have a lifetime of pain ahead of them...

Naw, just a half dozen A-10’s loaded to the brim with HE 30mm for their cannon. No bombs, maybe a few rockets. Just make a pass down the line and light them all up. When the magazine is empty turn it over to your buddy for his passes. Nothing rolls away from the carnage.

If any Russians are reading this: THANK YOU!!!

Yes, I do. I'll share your thanks with online friends. But the USA have recently scored a hit on some trucks too. It looks like many freepers have missed those threads.

Summer before last, I sold my late dad’s Blazer to a guy who sold it to another guy who took it to upstate PA. Then, suddenly, we got a call from the MD DMV, who told us it was found “abandoned”, still registered in my dad’s name, right in the midst of the area of the Baltimore riots. It was crazy. If yougo to auto auctions in my tri-state area, you will see precious few honkies there. I could never figure out where the heck they get all that money to be buying vehicles every week. Maybe....?

Around here we have Latinos with giant wads of cash who will buy vehicles and ship them south.

Some years ago, my wife bought a new(used) vehicle so we decided to sell her old one ourselves. It was 10-12 years old with 250K miles but in way above average shape.

I put it on the end of the driveway with a sign in the window about 4 pm and it sold before dark.

I am sure it was re-sold for a profit.

They could see them but there was a policy to minimise civilian casualties. Many of the drivers are regarded as being civilians. The US were hitting the trucks before the Russians and have been targeting the oil depots.

I didn’t, but I do now. Thank you. Is the U.S. still dropping leaflets first? That seems like a dumb thing.

No problem. Thanks for the reply. I would imagine that the leaflets drops are still ongoing in regards to the oil trucks. The message will quickly get through to those drivers that it isn’t worth the risk. Both the leafleting and the strikes themselves are going to have an effect.
