Ryan plotting 'meaningless show vote' on refugees
WND ^ | 11/18/2015 | Leo Hohmann

House Speaker Paul Ryan is lining up a showdown vote for Thursday on President Obama's plan to resettle 10,000 Syrian refugees in the United States.

But conservatives on Capitol Hill who want to see the refugee program halted are warning that Ryan's plan is nothing but a smokescreen designed to give lip-service while refusing to defund the program.

Ryan likely has no intention of cutting off the flow of Muslim refugees into the U.S., nor does he plan to ensure Syria's persecuted Christian minority gets rescued from the clutches of ISIS, sources told WND.

Yes. When you BBQ aborted kids for profit from laws you passed, you very much hate your country.

FGS — what do you folks want? Do you want Ryan to march up to the WH and hog tie Obama, hold his hand and make him sign legislation that he’s planning to veto? Get real.

You castigated Boehner and McConnell for NOT bringing measures to the floor that Obama is pledged to veto, saying “Well at least we would have his opposition on record,” but now you castigate Ryan for doing just the opposite.

Join the real world.

Interesting how Romney’s new best friend is that evil subversive David Axelrod.

This is what the majority of Ryan’s caucus wants- a ‘show vote’.
He’d have to beat them to get a real vote... not that he wants one.

What a stunning coincidence!

“Gope Voter “ We vote for liberal we are given and claim our hands were tied.”

Can’t imagine how America fell. No idea at all.

Not real hard to figure, with nothing but leftist teachers, and dumbed- down courses. No U S History requirement.

Sad to think that the winners I had for teachers in the 80s were Einsteins compared to what came after. That might explain the genpub. But no freeper has any excuse.

Well yea they have plenty of excuses... Such is the state of CANCERvatism as a whole today. But none of them are anything but excuses.

Elect GOPe candidates as lesser evil

They become tenured and powerful

They then control the agenda

They control who gets to run, and who wins future elections

You and I get blamed

Sounds fair to me!

Yep, I see it, and I see the Republicans, including Ryan, going right along with it when faced with some BS “threat” of a government shut down if they try to stop Obama. Let’s not pretend that at this point most Republicans want pretty much the same thing the Democrats do.

Well for a start I would like Speaker Ryan to bring HR3314 up for a vote.

Well whose fault is it? Obviously its not the people that chose to cast their vote FOR GOP liberals. Oh no no... It the fault of those that did not elect them because they hate America and love Obama when they stand on conservative principle.

When the history books were written, these people will be remembered exactly as what they are. Useful idiots that doubled down on evil just as the German people did in the 30s. They refuse to accept they caused their own problem with their support for evil, they refuse to accept they helped increase the evil and they blame everyone but themselves for the result when it bites them in the ass. Just exactly as the German people did.

We won’t live to see it. But it will happen. Thats good enough for me. They will never escape the judgement of history.

“...appears to be adopting the procedures of his predecessor.”

Wow! What a shock!

Did anyone at all think the GOPe would actually select anyone different that didn’t belong to the “go along to get along” club?

The “boner” and his ilk made sure that the “Good Ole Boy club” just kept on going like the energizer bunny.

Anyone who votes for any GOPe club member next time should be sent to Syria for an anal examination by a big barbarian.

Maybe the Republicans who voted the “lesser evil” can hire a GOPe to rewrite history for them?
