No. I think you may be mistaken. If we had a real president, you’d be right. But we don’t.

May I suggest they try that in a Southern State!
Some kids of both sexes love hunting and are usually prepared.

A small town school maybe, but I often thought about the thousands of school buses making a couple trips both morning and afternoon with 20 to 40 kids aboard, driving slow and stopping and opening the door every half mile.

Yes, that was what I was thinking also as a scenario.

Thanks, Honduras..

The only mistake the Syrians made was not having any connection to the Honduran drug cartels.........

My biggest fear is ISIS takes a small town school as hostages like in Beslan. If you want to contemplate a scary scenario, read William Forstchen's novella Day of Wrath.

“There is no ISIS. It’s ISIL you silly folks. Obama said so.”

And there is no relationship to Islam. The fact that ‘IS’ stands for Islamic State.... just ignore that.

“So it seems that a freaking third world country has better border security than US.”

You are absolutely right, Honduras, the “freaking third world country” DOES have better border security than the US. Also, far better voting procedures, too.

UPDATE: The Syrians who tried to go through Honduras en route to the US as of today have been indicted in Tegucigalpa for possession of false documents. They are in police custody in Comayaguela awaiting the arrival of a translator to aid in the trial.

According to a police spokesperson, they originally attracted attention not because of the false documents, but because they had been to Brazil before coming to Costa Rica and Honduras. Honduras requires anyone coming from Brazil to have a current vaccination for yellow fever, which none of these guys had. Once they were detained for medical reasons the airport authorities noticed something wrong with the passports. This implies that they could possibly have gotten away with it had their medical records been up to date.

Scary.
