Saw one guy demonstrate that in ITR; he picked up a dud M-60 projectile, held it up to show everybody and it went off.
Took off his head and right arm all the way to the shoulder.
The Lt got splattered with blood and brains and just sat there puking, I was just thinking “thank GOD for that 10 meter interval”.
