President Barack Obama lashed out Wednesday at Republicans who insist on barring Syrian refugees from entering the U.S., deeming their words offensive and insisting "it needs to stop."

"Apparently they're scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America," Obama said.

Mocking GOP leaders for thinking they're tough, Obama said overblown rhetoric from Republicans could be a potent recruitment tool for the Islamic State group. He insisted the U.S. process for screening refugees for possible entry into the U.S. is rigorous and said the U.S. doesn't make good decisions "based on hysteria" or exaggerated risk.

"We are not well served when in response to a terrorist attack we descend into fear and panic," the president said.

Obama's comments during a meeting with Philippine President Benigno Aquino marked his harshest condemnation yet of Republicans' response to the Paris attacks blamed on IS that killed 129 people last week. Republicans

People in America have been worried for a long time, and started watching in the first 4 years of obuma’s rein, then after he was re elected, they really started watching...the only problem was, by then our economy was starting to fall, along with jobs, because of this phony healthcare mess, they had to find different jobs, or more jobs and was busy taking care of their families, like we all have been doing, and we didn't pay much attention to who was in the House and who was in the Senate....but NOW since we have been jarred awake and we now know just how bad and how far down the tubes these people have taken OUR Country, we have to vote them out of office....every State should not re elect any politician until we have a new House and a new Senate...and then keep tract of what they are doing, if the new ones are turning into what we don't want, vote them out and vote in the new one....it's only up to us, we are the ones that have the votes, they don't...if we don't vote them into office, they aren't there to do more damage...
