Personally I would take Putin over 0dumb0 any day of the week. I think Putin has more of America's interests at heart than our muzzie terrorist-in-chief 0dumb0! There is not a single aspect of America that 0dumb0 has not undermined, weakened or downright betrayed in the last 7 years. I think in any previous era, he would have been arrested, tried & convicted for treason.

It absolutely is a bad thing. Presidents come and go, but strategic partnerships are usually long-term. It'll be quite difficult for France to maintain tight ties with both the U.S. and Russia due to frequently competing interests.
