Most of those "refugees" are young men in their twenties, absent kids or women. In Europe, they have no problem forking up lots of money to buy beverages and other goods. They put their hand out for handouts, but they are carrying large sums of money. In some places in Europe, citizens are burning down refugee centers. Can't do that here, as we don't have temporary barracks or tent villages; it's Christian or Jewish facilities being used to take them in and resettle them. So yes, shut them down!

You are correct. Wish they could lose tax exempt status.
Most of them start their own business, hire their friends under the table, and use every trick in the book to avoid taxes.
My husband and I ride Amtrack all the time and have never been asked to show a photo ID (or ID of any kind). Purchase tickets online and print them out to hand to the conductor. We go through/stop at DC on most of our trips.
