New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez says sheâs opposed to the Obama administrationâs plan to accept any more Syrian refugees until thereâs a clear plan in place to properly vet and place them.
"The Governor strongly opposes the Obama Administrationâs plan to accept more Syrian refugees until there is a very clear plan in place to properly vet and place the refugees, and the voices of governors and the public can be heard."

Thanks, CedarDave. There is also a poll attached to the story. Over 83% say no refugees.
ping
85 PERCENT!!!!
These are the healthiest looking refugees i’ve ever seen.
50k!!! from europe went to fight for ISIS!!!
What shocked me today, and I dont know why in NYC, is I met this nice Jewish kid in the city, maybe 22. He heads a temple retreat and they’re going to lobby in Washington.
I ridiculously assumed it was to protest for Israel, wrong. It’s to push for the Syrian refugees to be allowed in.
He said it was only eight people. I told him i heard 21 on 9/11 and he was too smart to think that many aren’t needed to carry this out behind the scenes.
Why the Suicidal tendencies?
He has a clean and young heart, no scars, and hasn’t seen enough to know better, i guess.
As La Plata says above, there is a poll attached to the story. No login or email address is needed to vote.
NM list PING!
I may not PING for all New Mexico articles.
(The NM list is available on my FR homepage for anyone to use. Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
Eat a pound of bacon before entering. Problem solved.
crop dusters spraying bacon grease.
The map is misleading in that not all the “green” states have weighed in one way or another. A map I saw earlier showed the “undecided” states including many in the mountain west (except Colorado which will accept the refugees).
I disagree. What's taking them so long? 26 governors have weighed in during the past 24 hours, when only Rick Snyder (MI) was on record. If they oppose it...SAY SO. And if they don't, their citizens should give them hell until they do.
How about just some FLAT OUT NOs? Instead of these conditionals ‘untll” or “unless”
NO more third worlders, NO more Muslims
Period.
In all likelihood, he is not Orthodox. The libtards are almost exclusively found in the folds of the reform and conservative Jews, if they are even Jews according to Jewish law (if they are not the product of Jewish male/non-Jewish female marriages). Lacking a Jewish education, they nevertheless have the Jewish tendency of compassion, a trait which is exhorted over and over again in the Torah. Thus we see fine young Jews such as your acquaintance involving themselves in substitutes for compassion toward their own people-—instead marching for black rights in the 60s, marching for gay rights in the recent past and now, marching for Muzzie “refugee” rights, whatever. It is just misplaced compassion which you are witnessing.
The black rights then, I admire. I wouldn’t have marched because i wouldn’t have cared enough. Not gonna lie. But I was born in 1968 anyway.
I asked a Jewish friend why all the compassion for those groups?
He said they understood what it was like to be persecuted and they want to help others in the same boat.
I had a lot of respect for Neil, he was a good guy. Liberal, yes, to me.
But firm on being against marxism, Pro Israel, pro our wounded warriors, and wherever he is now, he is pounding something in fury at Obama :)
Minnesota will accept them no matter what.
Thanks for the ping! Excellent news!
While Muslims are gang-raping his wife and beheading his children and grandchildren in front of him.
"Let me pay the jizya!", he'll whimper...
She and others need to insist instead of just mouthing off - use their own armed resources to either stop or round up any “refugees”. Until the governors are willing to take action, nothing will change and State Rights and the 10th Amendment will be relegated to the book of archaic terms.
Awesome. This news means that Arizona will not have to guard its border with New Mexico.
This is good news.
