PARIS â November is not January. That thought has been filtering through the statements of most French politicians and the news media, and most people seem to understand.
Unlike the response in January after attacks at the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo and elsewhere left 17 dead, there were no grand public appeals for solidarity with Muslims after the Friday attacks that left 129 dead in Paris. There were no marches, few pleas not to confuse practitioners of Islam with those who preach jihad.
Instead, there was a palpable fear, even anger, as President François Hollande asked Parliament to extend a state of emergency and called for changing the Constitution to deal with terrorism. It was largely unspoken but nevertheless clear: Secular Francealways had a complicated relationship with its Muslim community, but now it was tipping toward outright distrust, even hostility.

Call it the second renaissance.
Call it the second renaissance.
Flippen needs to.
Do not underestimate Western Man's ability to kill effectively and and dispassionately.
We set the worldwide, historic standard.
Emerges across the world not just in France. iSIS is just about to find out how bad they aren’t soon.
Your religion is a religion. And not a cult
What does France need? President LePen! She and President Trump would work well together—I believe.
Islam’s strategy is to carry out horrendous attacks against Infidels all over the world thus causing non-Muslims to begin hating them even more (Islamophobia?), create attacks against Islamic institutions and people, thus driving the “victim (moderate) Muslims directly into the arms of the radicals.
The masses of Muslims in Europe are poised to be “forced” (by us) into the armies of Allah.
A Western backlash against Muslims will push them into the terror cells already up and running.
It’s going to be war, it is war.
It’s a brilliant strategy.
Do the terrorists think people of European decent are incapable of barbarity? If so, the terrorists may be in for a very unpleasant surprise.
Western culture has given more to mankind than any other. Yes there have been notable drawbacks but it evolved and has been weeding out the issues for the past 150 years. Its been a work in progress. These politicians who aren’t satisfied with that will continue to cause the deaths of innocents.
Remember that rue Muslims already there like to riot and burn thousands of cars
Later, they had the Almighty Church and a belief in Christ.
They annihilated everything in their path only to eventually lose to Islam.
In the 17th century they stopped them at Vienna.
Now, in a post-everything world post-religion, post- nationalism, post-Facism, etc.) and pro-multiculuralism world, they have little defense against the Islamic onslaught.
The Swedes for example are about to be swamped but yet, they blame the Paris attacks on Israel. They say it is the frustration of the Palestinians that have caused this latest wave of terror.
This is a last gasp lashing out at appeasing the (cannot be appeased) Muslims of Scandinavia and Europe.
Unlike automatics revolvers do not jam
Modern automatics rarely do. And revolvers can malfunction, it’s just extraordinarily rare.
When special forces units operating in the boonies where weapons get dirty find automatics reliable enough for them to universally be equipped with them, it seems absurd for a high-level swat team in an urban setting to not be using them.
I agree.
Those of us with more than half a clue do stand united.
After the events in Paris on 11/13, I will be adding
this to my posts for the next week. I'm certain our
turn is coming again soon. We stand united against
Islamic extremists.
Some music for reflection if the mood strikes you.

An honorable mention also goes out to Lassana Bathily , a Muslim immigrant from Mali.
Mr. Bathily sheltered customers at the Jewish Deli and helped police by providing info
on the terrorists, and providing the location of survivors in the deli.
