Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump just put rival Ted Cruz on notice: Get too hot and I'll have to take you down.
Describing the senator from Texas as "nice and supportive," Trump told CNBC’s "Squawk Box" on Monday that the two candidates have similar ideas on many of the issues, including border security and the need for a wall to keep out illegal immigrants.
"[But] If he catches on, I guess we'll have to go to war," Trump said of Cruz, who's seen a bit of a bump nationally and in the early contest states of Iowa and New Hampshire since last week's Republican debate.

There is such an irrational hatred towards Trump because he is winning that those irrational people would probably rather vote against him than have him win. There’s a mental-illness contingent here and it gets worse with each poll showing Trump ahead.

Agree...As mentioned, I like Ted...he has many positive qualities, but I like Trump better. It’s funny, I very rarely see Trump supporters react to Ted the way Ted supporters on FR react towards Trump. Mainly we tend to point out where Ted has strayed from the conservative line, but overall would be find with Ted if Trump didn’t win. Not so from the Cruz people on here. There is a deep dislike of Trump. Probably due to the fact that contrary to their protests about Trump not being conservative, Trump is taking a large chunk of the conservative block, something they fell Ted is entitled to, and thus demonstrating that Trump is running on a conservative platform.

That doesn’t make any sense at all. I’m a Cruz supporter but no way would I vote for Sanders Trump is fine with me if he is the nominee.
