Leaders tip-toeing around the obvious in war against ISIS
americanthinker.com ^ | 11/15/2015 | Rick Moran

So despite the reality that if we were really going to get serious about taking down Islamic State we would need a large, modern army to do it, there is no chance of it happening. ISIS will continue to grow in both numbers and capabilities until they inflict an unbearable wound on a city or nation. At that point, the political dynamic will change, but Islamic State will be far more powerful and far more difficult to defeat.

Apparently Rick thinks that we need boots. How can that be? It's the contained JV team and there's surely no issue with Iran working on nuclear power initiatives. Right? Let's concern ourselves with the real threat to humankind and put an end to glow-bull discomobulation then worry about some perceived threat from some disgruntled refugees. So, if(?) and when an attack occurs in the U.S. will it be the impetus for the lyin' king to institute martial law and suspend the (s)elections next November?

No point in having an army that can take on ISIS until after Baraq leaves the White House, hopefully to be replaced by an actual American.

The solution is hard but must be done EXPULSION of Moslem's. Such a course can be stopped if a fool proof method is developed to distinguish a Jihadist from a bakery shop owner.

Don't be fooled by the "TOLERANCE" rhetoric which claims to overlook minor irritants but really means the inability to say Yes or No; the inability to take a stand.

Does western civilization have the will to fight Islam?

The dualism of Islam is what paralyzes an effective strategy against Islamic terrorism & jihad. The democrats/socialists love political Islam because it exerts power and control over people. This is the NWO.

We have been paralyzed by political correctness, humanitarianism, racism, global warming, religious freedom aka forced acceptance of islam as a religion and not a military tactic by the democratic socialist ruling class who just loves control in any form. The are enablers and supporters of ISIS

The current-occupant-of-the-oval-office will NEVER identify the enemy and therefore can never develop an appropriate objective which would require an appropriate strategy.

Isn’t this what putin is trying to do and being demonized the the west?

Btw the “ boots on the ground” need to come from regional muslims whose states have been infected . There are plenty of boots among SYRIA, Iraq, Iran and Egypt. Any other booths belong to “ crusaders”

There is a muslim army of men in Germany alone.
No American blood when muslim men go to Europe by the hundreds of thousands to collect free housing, cell phones and welfare

President Obie was only speaking from his own standpoint. ISIS is unlikely to attack him in the White House due to his security forces. If a few hundred French are killed or wounded, that is a small number when compared with the millions of French, and the police can handle it.

Not gonna happen. ISIS/IS/ISIL is America’s and Europe’s Muslim terrorist army that is assigned the task of taking out Assad from Syria so the natural gas pipeline that is planned to be built and run through Syria ll the way to Europe will be accomplished.

Putin doesn’t want this pipeline to be built either since he supplies most of Europe with natural gas.

Need to reconcile that with 1st Amendment freedom of religion.
Don’t burn the Constitution to save it.

ISIS is the friend of the Leftist politicians. It is the average Joe they see as being the enemy.

A division of 10,000 Syrian men entered the US this week to live on our benefit system

There are the boots that need to be on the ground over there instead of being radicalized here to kill us for sending troops to their counties

DOh!

Remember when there was a sense of pride coming to America, learning english, assimilating and eventually taking the oath of citizenship and the responsibility/opportunity that went along with that? Not so much anymore.

In the current climate, blacks, towel heads and marxists are not held to account for their crimes against humanity.
I see no sign of this changing.

The Doctrine of Necessity of survival trumps legalism. Lincoln took action based on that doctrine as the Civil War was starting. He suspended the writ of Habeas Corpus which the Constitution allows such suspension. The Controversy arose on the issue of who has the authority; congress or the President. If our nation goes under we will have no Constitution.

Congress has the right to control aliens coming in and going out. The argument based upon "The Children" is answered by saying they can keep American citizenship in Pakistan, Arabia, Syria etc.

We don’t have the will to do what is necessary.

John Quincy Adams knew about Islam

In the seventh century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab of the lineage of Hagar, the Egyptian, combining the powers of transcendent genius, with the preternatural energy of a fanatic, and the fraudulent spirit of an impostor, proclaimed himself as a messenger from Heaven, and spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth. Adopting from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent God; he connected indissolubly with it, the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle. Adopting from the new Revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust, by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. THE ESSENCE OF HIS DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST: TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE.

Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. That war is yet flagrant; nor can it cease but by the extinction of that imposture, which has been permitted by Providence to prolong the degeneracy of man. While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon earth, and good will towards men. The hand of Ishmael will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. It is, indeed, amongst the mysterious dealings of God, that this delusion should have been suffered for so many ages, and during so many generations of human kind, to prevail over the doctrines of the meek and peaceful and benevolent Jesus (Blunt, 1830, 29:269, capitals in orig.).

Your conclusion that we lack the will is absolutely correct. The West is sick.

Can any public figure start framing this "ISIS crisis" as part of USA's 200+ year war on Islam? Yes, we started fighting this against Barbary Pirates ("To the shores of Tripoli...") in 1801! All the other western powers were bribing/paying tribute to the Islamic Pirates (jirza); USA was the one country to say NO and to lead the fight.

After the recent hiatus in our opposition to the Islamic horror, we must resume the fight!
