It is easy to be an armchair general, I guess, but I occurs to be that trying to ‘understand’ them, or trying to ‘not be George Bush’, or even ‘bringing the perpetrators to justice’ simply isn’t working. They say that it is not all of Islam that is responsible, but it seems that ‘moderates’ are not doing nearly enough to shut down the radicals. It is time to put it to the ‘moderates’. Make them feel pain. Don’t nation build, nation destroy. Destroy what we can, take possession of oil fields where possible (hey, they use oil as a weapon against us), cancel visas from people from Muslim countries - make the moderates understand that if they don’t ferret out the radicals, the jihadis, THEY will feel the pain. Is there any other way?
