If Islam purges Jihad, Sharia and repudiates Mad Mo’, they might make it into civilized society. Bann all money from SA that promotes/supports Islam in the rest of the world.
The really sad thing is, until WW I, when the modern-style Turkish nationalist New Turks (who also arranged the Armenian genocide by combining public orders for deportation with secret verbal orders for mass murder) pressured the Caliph/Sultan into declaring jihad against the Allies, Sunni Islam, lead by the Ottoman Sultan, was on track to do that: the Caliph had abolished slavery, abolished formal dhimmitude making all Ottaman subjects equal before the law (as concession to get British and French support in the Crimean War), and put in a parliamentary constitution (the last being the one good thing the New Turks did).
