BERLIN-The attacks in Paris stunned Europe and deepened one of the European Union's greatest crises: the tide of migration from the war-torn Middle East and elsewhere sweeping in from across the Mediterranean.
In Germany, the attacks quickly galvanized opponents of Chancellor Angela Merkel's open-door policy, with critics saying that it had become clearer than ever that the migrants from the Middle East represented a grave security threat. In Poland, a country that had already opposed Ms. Merkel's stance, leading politicians doubled down and warned they wouldn't honor an earlier agreement to take in refugees.
Ms. Merkel has been under intensifying fire for months for opening Germany's doors to refugees, a posture that many critics say has helped touch off a tide of migration into Germany numbering as many as 10,000 a day.
As of Saturday afternoon, it remained unclear whether the attacks were perpetrated by homegrown terrorists or people who entered France from abroad. Nevertheless, they quickly offered fodder for critics who said that Germany and Europe couldn't manage the influx of migration from the Middle East.

I would think these attacks and Hebdo and the Rape of (Fill in the Blank) and... would actually have a settling affect...on the debate, that is.

Prague, Czech Republic - Russia is orchestrating, coordinating, and funding the ongoing invasion of European countries by Muslim, military-age males, the Czech Defense Minister shared with IDNES.cz on October 10th, 2015.
According to Martin Stropnicky, the Defense Minister for the Czech Republic, he was informed by the Hungarian Defense Minister Istvan Simicsko that Russia was financing the busing of military-age Islamic males across the borders of the Balkan nations.

Speculation has been rife for some time now that Russian forces have been plotting a ground invasion to retake the former satellite states of the Soviet Union, and eventually capturing the European capitals.
The overwhelming of these nations' borders, social services, and law enforcement mechanisms would destabilize and weaken the internal security controls when Russian military units would make their move.
"The Russian Federation does not desire a unified and cohesive European Union," Stropnicky said in the interview. "I do not envision the current invasion ceasing anytime soon."
As the Russian Federation has modernized its military forces and transformed its military theory to a hybrid combination of special forces, infantry, and airpower, it has made impressive advances in its latest generation tank and fighter jet, both of which purportedly claim to be superior to American counterparts. ..."

By “unsettle”, I might say the collapse of the EU and the deposing of Merkel by her own party might be considered by some to be “unsettling”.

i would hope it changes their minds. The leadership and the upplet class of the West has gone off the rails and no longer looks out for us. they will either listen to us or they will be gone.

Will Europe wise-up? Who knows. It seems that it shouldn’t take barbaric acts like those in Paris for Europe to comprehend that Muslims are not, on the whole, peace-loving people who just want to get along and live peaceably with their neighbors.
I *do* wonder, though, whether there’s a point when Europe wakes up and realizes that this is what Israel has been living with for decades.
Note how cleverly the WSJ and other establishment media use the term “migration” instead of “immigration”.. Undocumented, unvetted, immigrants, wherever they are from are a danger to the financial and material saftey of America. Vote for Trump, or for you sensible Hispanics Vota por Trump!
