The brazenness with which they mocked her death means they are either very, very stupid as well as evil, or they thought their crime would be excused.

If the latter, then the whole “Black Lives Matter” movement has a LOT of explaining to do. What elements have created an atmosphere where brazen disregard for innocent life is expected to be a cause celebre?

How about the narrative pushed since 1973 that human life is cheap and disposable, as long as someone with more strength wants that person dead?

How about the narrative that poverty among minorities is a result of "racism", while pretending that the root cultural causes of minority poverty (e.g. broken families, a culture that demonizes success by calling those who strive for success "Uncle Toms") do not exist?

I'm sure other factors play into it, but these are the ones that come immediately to mind.

Brazen? Cowardly is a better descriptor. They chose to single out a lone, aged, weak target.

You want brazen or couragous? “Into the valley of death rode the 600.”

These scum are something that might stick to the sole of one’s shoe.
