How about the narrative pushed since 1973 that human life is cheap and disposable, as long as someone with more strength wants that person dead?
How about the narrative that poverty among minorities is a result of "racism", while pretending that the root cultural causes of minority poverty (e.g. broken families, a culture that demonizes success by calling those who strive for success "Uncle Toms") do not exist?
I'm sure other factors play into it, but these are the ones that come immediately to mind.
