Trump surges among likely Republican primary voters: Reuters/Ipsos poll (42%)!
Yahoo ^ | 11/14/2015 | James Oliphant

After a week in which he hosted Saturday Night Live and stood center-stage at a Republican debate, Donald Trump is surging among Republicans likely to cast votes in the party’s presidential primary. According to the five-day rolling Reuters/Ipsos presidential poll, Trump has leapt some 17 percentage points among likely Republican voters since Nov. 6, when he was essentially tied with Ben Carson at about 25 percent.

Among all Republicans - not simply likely primary voters -Trump holds a substantial edge over Carson, at 34 percent to about 20 percent, according to the Reuters/Ipsos poll. Trump’s appearance on NBC's Saturday Night Live earned the program its highest ratings in two years, with 9.3 million viewers tuning in. Then, on Tuesday, 13.5 million viewers watched the debate from Milwaukee broadcast on the Fox Business Network. It remains to be seen, however, whether Trump’s surge will hold in the wake of his comments at an Iowa rally Thursday night in which he tore into Carson, telling the crowd that Carson has a "pathological" temper.

"If you’re pathological, there’s no cure for that,” Trump said. "If you’re a child molester, there’s no cure for that.” Trump then posted a video critical of Carson on his Instagram account Friday. The Republican establishment has long expected the outspoken billionaire to fade, and he has yet to give it the satisfaction. Trump has consistently held more than 25 percent of the support among all Republicans in the Reuters/Ipsos rolling poll for more than two months. The Reuters/Ipsos poll is also bad news for Marco Rubio, who is widely considered to be emerging as the establishment-backed alternative to Trump. Despite receiving rave notices for his past two debate performance, Rubio’s support has remained flat, with about 10 percent of likely Republican primary voters preferring him.

I love gridlock when traitors like Paul La Raza Ryan and Mitchy are selling off the US to crony capitalized and foreign billionaires like Murdoch - Soros The old saying that no American's freedom, liberty and possessions are safe while Congress is in session is very true today !

“His attack on Carson is not going to sit well with people.”

Because we’ve been so programmed to tone it down, play nice, and don’t pick on minorities, I can see how a shallow-thinking person would believe that.

But if Trump is telling the truth, and I believe he is, then let ‘er rip! Carson, Trump, et al., aren’t running for Prom King, for Pete’s sake. What happens in 2016 is more than serious. If it takes Trump to be the bad-ass and weed out potential problems, good for him. Let’s hear more.

Carson is a decent, kind, intelligent man and he’s changed the world for the better. We can appreciate that. The White House is not the best place for him.

Such a toxic relationship will ensure nothing ever gets done in Washington. It’ll make today’s gridlock and posturing look like The Era of Good Feeling.

That would be a good thing. Everytime they agree to ‘do’ something the American people get screwed.

Maybe it is high time for the fainting couch right to get a clue.

We can move those couches to the protected areas at U of Mo, Yale, Cal Bezerkley and other liberal universities.

They are well off economically, and their husbands need testosterone shots and Viagra.

So they're my age.

"His attack on Carson is not going to sit well with people."

Like his attack on McCain, RonP, Yeb, Rubio, iCarly, and the rest of the 'fake' wannabees.

Carson couldn't handle what is happening in America. Black are going crazy. The Country is being saturated by a black President with ISIS radicals. America is finished. And Carson, what a joke.

Trump for President. Impeach King Obama now!

As my tagline notes:

There’s nothing there and nothing can penetrate it.

First of all, BOTH parties... 'ARE' the PROBLEM!

and Second of all, if "nothing gets done in Washington" in my book, that's a GREAT THING!!!!!!!!!

“His attack on Carson is not going to sit well with people”

If you think what Trump said was bad go on Youtube and watch what Reverend Manning has to say about Carson. Not good.

What happened last night in Paris will put Trump in the Whitehouse.

Are you saying because Trump doesn’t have friends in a corrupt congress you won’t vote for him? Exactly what friends does Cruz have?

The best recent years for California was when we had deadlock at Sacramento. When the rats elected Moonbeam and an all rat legislature, we have gone to liberal hell faster than Moonbeam’s bullet train from no where to no where.

It will be like Jimmy Carter all over again, except Carter took more than two full years to alienate most of Congress. Trump will have their total ire from day one.

I suppose there's some similarity there, but there are differences. The most significant, IMO, is that Carter was not a big picture thinker as Trump is and he possessed no skill for communication. If Congress doesn't see the light they will surely feel the heat.

Also, it's a different world. Carter won because of the media; if Trump is elected it will be despite the best efforts of the media. Trump shows how to go around the media.
