Donald Trump played it safe Friday at the 2015 Sunshine Summit, focusing his remarks on immigration and foreign policy instead of continuing his criticism of Ben Carson, and cancelling a press conference shortly after leaving the stage.
The Republican presidential hopeful made no mention of Carson during his speech despite releasing an ad targeting the retired neurosurgeon just hours prior. Within minutes of concluding his remarks and leaving the stage, Trump's campaign notified a crowded room of reporters he would no longer be available for a Q&A.
Trump's campaign did not provide a reason for the last-minute cancellation, but the GOP candidate took the stage Friday less than an hour after news broke of a series of terror attacks in Paris, France.
Carson, a retired neurosurgeon who's surpassed Trump as the GOP front-runner both nationally and in key early primary states, was scheduled to speak at the same gathering of Florida Republicans immediately after Trump.
Due to the two candidates back-to-back remarks, dozens of reporters missed several minutes of Carson's speech while waiting for Trump to arrive in the briefing room.
“Trump is a narcissistic idiot. Anyone who votes for Trump is an idiot! There is no comparison between the character of Ben Carson and the self promoting Kardashion-like Trump!”

Rumor has it that he wanted the reporters to address him as Santa. When asked why, he stated, “Because that is my name, dummy.” His campaign rushed him back to his plane where his doc was waiting with a hypodermic fillled with Geodon.
Same thing you Trumpidians are doing to Carson. A nice man that does not deserve such nasty attacks.

I have no problems with this from him and I’m glad he said something. He most definitely chose not to attack Carson’s Christian walk in today’s meeting, even though he launched an ad that does.
Looks like Ben is into wall building now, too. Ben figgers it will take a year.

Trump has more of a religious moral compass tonite by what he tweeted than you have in your baby toe by the venom against Trump you posted on this thread tonite. And everyone who reads this thread will see what you said. You can’t hide it or cover up what you said. Your die has been cast.

Rubio is still pro amnesty. He supposedly was totally anti amnesty when he ran for Senate. And his main donor is a radical amnesty pusher. Furthermore, he ripped off the people of Florida who elected him to Senate by refusing to do the job. Rubio is worse than Jeb, having no experience, no credibility, nothing at all to convince me he is fit for the office of president.

When Trump attacks the Christian walk of others, his own walk is completely fair game.

I don’t like being called an idiot, you profess to know God, then you know God can use anyone, look what he did with Saul! I believe he can use a strong individual for his glory, even if the guy does toot his own horn! Since God is in control I’m not worried, I think he can control The Donald.

I myself is 100% with Trump, and as I said today, I will gladly get into the trenches with Trump to support him, because he is an American FIRST and he loves this Country and the American People...
