I agree with you however.... the US Govt is not taking this serious and sometimes a little comedy helps deal with the horror we are seeing..not just today but all over.

Joking in moderation during tragedy can be healthy. It helps people handle the shock.
There is no reason to say that. Clearly people should be careful in large crowds, but the is no need to scare people.
Want to hear the sick thing? It will crystalize the notion here in the US that all immigration must cease while we reset that particular system.
It will also challenge ANYONE who says a ‘Deportation Force’ can’t work. If it can’t, in the candidate’s opinion, it will be an automatic disqualifier in the minds of anyone not completely pink or red (commie).

CNN just signed death warrants for hostages.
CNN reported minutes ago that they are in contact with a hostage that is reporting the activities inside the building.
The terrorists will, I am sure be ordering all hostages to give them their phones and most likely will kill any of them that have communicated with CNN.
