HOUSTON (KTRK) - There's a racial controversy over a planned meeting at a Houston high school.
Klein Oak High School is expected to host a meeting and apparently only black students have been invited.
It is being called a unity rally, but in this case, it means only African-American students were invited and only African-American students would be in attendance, according to district officials.
The idea is reportedly a collaboration between black students and administrators at Klein Oak High School.
When asked why only black students are being allowed to attend the meeting, school officials say they wanted those students to feel comfortable to attend.
The meeting is scheduled to happen during second period today.
One parent of a African-American student says she is not happy about the meeting in the least, and the students themselves are wondering why they are being singled out for their race.
The parent who spoke with abc13 says she wants to know how this is supposed to make students feel free, and is worried the district is trying to begin a new form of segregation.

Makes me think about back in the 5th grade when they used to call all the girls together to explain about “it”. Maybe this is kinda like that. Most blacks ARE on the rag, aren’t they?
If I was the black parent of a high school student in that district, I would refuse to allow my child to attend; if I was the white or Asian parent of a student in that district, I would show up with my child and an attorney demanding my child attend that meeting. If I was the governor or the president, I would send the national guard to ensure that every student be allowed to attend the meeting. This is disgraceful.
Whites need to know their place.

And if that was done across the country, only then will we wipe out discrimination and affirmative action.
I wonder what kind of response/answer, if any, that parent will get, since she is contrary to the agenda of those school officials. I hope she continues talking to the media.
Of course the black conquerors will segregate. Victors always segregate themselves from the conquered. It is only the bemused and stupid white who thinks we will live in an egalitarian paradise, holding hands and dancing together across flower strewn sunlit fields.

I agree 100% and I happen to be a person of a darker shade. I have no clue what the hell is going on with them anymore, its like they want to go back 100 years from the looks of it, I swear since 2008 it has gone downhill with alot of them for some reason.
Fine...then all students of any color should be allowed to exclude students/people of other hues on the "comfortable" paradigm. After all, everybody should be allowed to be "comfortable".... right?
