Human trafficking survivor: I was raped 43,200 times
CNN ^ | 11/11/2015 | Rafael Romo,

--SNIP-- Her story highlights the brutal realities of human trafficking in Mexico and the United States, an underworld that has destroyed the lives of tens of thousands of Mexican girls like Karla.

Human trafficking has become a trade so lucrative and prevalent, that it knows no borders and links towns in central Mexico with cities like Atlanta and New York.

U.S. and Mexican officials both point to a town in central Mexico that for years has been a major source of human trafficking rings and a place where victims are taken before being eventually forced into prostitution.

I have recently read several books recounting the stories of “Comfort Women”, aka Japanese sex slaves, during WWll. These women were required to “service” (be raped by) about 30 military men every night, night after night, for years. Each man was allowed 15 minutes, after which another would take his place. These women were raped thousands and thousands of times. It is hard to understand how they could have possibly survived, physically or mentally. But they did, and some have testified about their ordeal.

Having worked with victims of human trafficking for the past several years, I can tell you their stories may sound unbelievable, but it is the depravity of those who do the raping that is unimaginable. And horrifying. I do not doubt the numbers for a moment. And after talking to victims, the emptiness in their eyes says more than words can say. It is truly, truly, gut wrenching.

Good Lord. Did anyone read the whole story? Do you know anything about the problem with human trafficking?

What should have everyone upset is not this poor girl’s claims, but the link to what CNN says you can do to help stop this....

Get a white piece of paper.
Make a paper airplane.
Write on it what you will do to help.
Send picture to CNN to display.

Every politician who does not want to stop illegal “immigration” is, in fact, enabling and encouraging human trafficking. The worst part is that they are completely aware of the atrocities they are aiding and abetting when they refuse to enforce immigration laws. But they would rather have the political power that comes from supporting illegal “immigration” and, thus, trafficking.

Military personnel are required to learn how to recognize human trafficking. I guess that’s how the politicians who enable trafficking ease their consciences.

Simply spreading the message in the countries that are the sources of the illegal “immigrants” that illegal immigration is no longer a pot of gold—that they *will* be deported, that they will *not* get free routine health care, that their babies will *not* be anchor babies—simply spreading that message will reduce the desire to come to the US illegally. And by reducing that desire, the ability of the coyotes to lure in the desperately poor with promises of heaven while delivering them into slavery will be impaired.

//who writes down and keeps an account of the number of rapes..//

Prisoners and slaves keep accounting of strange things all the time. Perhaps her number is inflated in actuality, perhaps it wasn’t 30 men per day, that doesn’t mean she is intentionally lying.

And I am damn sick of Freepers defending rapists and always accusing the women of lying.

Thank you for your post. The number just seemed shockingly high and often people and the media exaggerate badly in order to draw attention to a/their cause.

It sounds like you have more knowledge of this sort of thing than I do, therefore if you think the number is realistic than I see no reason to doubt you.

And another thing.

You can thank your president for the human sex trafficking that’s going on in this country.

Why else did he let hundreds of thousand of undocumented, untraceable people into this country??

Reasonable math...many prostitutes (not sex slaves) admit to servicing about 25 men per day...

My math classes are begging a solution, shall we say that over a 5 year period there were 43200 rapes...

43200/5 = 8640 rapes per year

8640/365 Days =23.6 per day

Not unreasonable if you are familiar with sex slavery stories.
