OMG, you mean Cruz had a real person moment, where he flubbed his thoughts? Oh, the huge manatee. Stop the presses!!

So lame...if you're willing to shun a candidate, based on a flubbed sentence, than you are as shallow as a Demcrat. No, Ted is not done. Not by a long shot. Maybe to knee-jerk reactionaries like you, who don't really want him to win anyway, but those who have researched and watched him, he's just getting started...

To clarify since he mis-stated it in his answer....Those 5 agencies Ted will eliminate are:

The IRS and these cabinet agencies are unnecessary and will be shuttered for the following reasons:

-Internal Revenue Service – to dramatically simplify the tax code and enable everyone to fill out their taxes on a postcard or smartphone app.

-Department of Education – to return education to those who know our students best: parents, teachers, local communities, and states. And to block-grant education funding to the states.

-Department of Energy – to cut off the Washington cartel, stop picking winners and losers, and unleash the energy renaissance.

-Department of Commerce – to close the “congressional cookie jar” and promote free enterprise and free trade for every business.

-Department of Housing and Urban Development – to offer real solutions that lift people out of hardship, rather than trapping families in a cycle of poverty, and to empower hurting Americans by reforming most of the remaining programs, such as Section 8 housing.

Cruz argues in the plan he won't do it through executive action, but by working with Congress. You can read more about his plan here.

as long as you have to define income, you cannot eliminate the IRS.

Get over yourself. That is not what they were talking about. You do know that Rick Perry’s campaign was destroyed by not knowing what department he wanted gone. When Cruz said 5 and started naming them, their was a short pause and everyone was holding their breath hoping for no repeat. You are going nuclear on this which is totally ridiculous. You are lame not them.

Yeah. Just like Rubio took a sip of water and it was headline news for a week. Real person moments only count if you are a liberal. If you are a conservative, you are held to a higher standard and then beaten over the head when you do not live up to it.

This is Alinksy stuff.
