(October 28, 2015) Nice Guys Finish Last. And That’s Why Only Donald Trump Can Beat Hillary Clinto
The Blaze ^ | 10.28.2015 | Wayne Root

Sorry folks, love him or hate him only Donald Trump has the chutzpah, audacity, street smarts, killer instincts and vicious lawyers to fight Hillary Clinton and win.

Do you understand what we’re up against? Have you seen what the Clinton war machine is capable of? Have you seen what the Obama-Clinton regime is willing to do to win?

Do you understand Barack Obama met with the IRS chief more than any cabinet officer (157 times)?

During this time the IRS just happened to target, persecute and intimidate only conservative groups and high-profile Obama critics (like me).

Then Obama appointed a Democrat donor to head the IRS investigation.

Then he allowed the IRS Commissioner to oversee the destruction of evidence (thousands of Lois Lerner’s emails) and lie to Congress.

And then, just days ago, the Justice Department had the audacity to decline to prosecute former IRS official Lois Lerner (even though she plead the fifth rather than incriminate herself by testifying in front of Congress).

Do you realize it was the same Department of Jutice that conspired with Lois Lerner to figure out how to send conservatives to jail for the crime of running tax emexpt organizations?

And all of this happened with Obama, IRS officials, Democrats in Congress and DOJ lawyers keeping a straight face.

This folks is an arrogant crowd that believes with the media’s help, they are above the law. Even the Gambino Crime Family couldn’t dream up a conspiracy like this.

They are so confident the Republican wimps in Congress will never stand up to them and so secure they’ll always have the support of the liberal media that despite all of these revelations, the IRS Commissioner recently admitting the agency is still holding up tax exempt status for conservative groups.

And still conducting witch-hunts against high-profile Obama critics like the Christian conservative family that owns Hobby Lobby.

The thugs of the Obama administration are so brazen, even the glare of public light won’t stop them from targeting, persecuting and intimidating anyone who dares to oppose this president.

You can bet the DOJ will soon announce they are not prosecuting Hillary either for purposely deleting 32,000 emails, or for transmitting classified top-secret documents on her private email account. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out that’s precisely why Joe Biden decided not to run. The fix is in. He already knows the DOJ will not indict.

We are about to be facing a Clinton war machine so bold, so brazen, so arrogant and so criminal they were willing to trade favors and government contracts awarded by Hillary’s State Department for billions of dollars in “donations” (aka bribes) from foreign governments to the Clinton Foundation.

Don’t forget the foundation itself is a sham that spends almost nothing on charity (they took in $130 million in 2013 and spent $9 million on direct aid). This is all going on in broad daylight.

The Clintons take multi-million dollar tax deductions for charitable donations to their foundation, then the foundation pays lavish salaries and travel expenses to Clinton friends and family.

And, don’t forget the Clintons are such hypocrites they accept tens of millions of dollars in “donations” from Muslim countries that mistreat women and violate the human rights of gays, while lecturing us on the so-called “Republican war on women.”

That’s what we’re facing.

This is going to be the most vicious, ruthless, no-holds-barred war conservatives have ever seen. There is no level these people won’t stoop to retain control of the White House and control trillions of dollars of patronage handed out to Democrat donors, bundlers, and corrupt unions.

Into the fray steps Donald Trump. Many Republican, conservative, and Christian leaders turn up their nose.

“He’s not conservative enough.” “He’s not a nice guy.” “He’s too vicious.” “He’s not one of us.” “He’s never served in office.” “He doesn’t have detailed policies.”

Well I have news for conservatives. Trump is our last best chance to save America. There is no plan B. There’s only one man vicious and courageous enough to fight back and win against the Clinton war machine. His name is Donald Trump.

Here’s why.

First, Trump understands how to fight to win. He has experience in the trenches of New York real estate – the only business close to the dirty game of politics. Trump has the killer instincts to win in a war against vicious people devoid of morals like the Clintons. This is no game for nice, well-mannered people. This is no time to bring knives to a gun fight. Trump will bring a laser-guided nuclear missile. That’s the only way to beat the Clintons.

Second, Trump is the only candidate with the chutzpah to point out to America in the strongest terms possible that Hillary is a criminal whose actions make her more deserving of the Big House than the White House. He won’t hesitate to run ads “Willie Horton-ing” Hillary with photos or videos of illegal aliens who have murdered American citizens. Trump will put the Clintons on defense. Trump will never apologize – he’ll just attack. No other Republican has the skills to pull this off.

Third, only Trump has the audacity and willingness to investigate and prosecute Democrats who have run roughshod over the U.S. Constitution. I’m not as worried about Trump’s conservative principles, as I am excited by the prospect of making Obama, Hillary, Eric Holder, Valerie Jarrett, Jonathan Gruber (the architect of the Obamacare fraud), and top IRS officials pay for their crimes against the American people and violations of the Constitution. This is the exact pledge Trump should run on. The American people, including the millions of conservative and working class voters who stayed home for John McCain and Mitt Romney, will come out in record numbers to support anyone promising to put the criminals in the Obama administration in prison.

Lastly, this election will be won by the GOP only if we have the balls and brains to spend tens of millions of dollars on armies of vicious lawyers who will stop voter fraud. My belief is this is how Democrats are stealing elections – by bringing illegal aliens to the polls and stuffing ballot boxes. Only Trump has an army of lawyers so vicious, ruthless and brilliant that no one in New York wants to do battle with him. Trump doesn’t lose. His lawyers are the best. I grew up in New York. I’ve heard for decades now from my smartest friends, “never go to battle with Trump.” It’s time the GOP played this game to win.

It’s time to stop being nice guys. Stop being stupid. Stop being naïve. Politics isn’t for nice guys. We will not beat Hillary with country club rules and good manners. It’s time to stop bringing knives to a gun fight. As Charlie Sheen says, “I like winning.”

Stop worrying about Donald Trump’s “conservative credentials.” Start worrying about President Hillary Clinton. Only one person can play by the Clinton’s rules and beat them at their own game.

Our children’s future is at stake. The future survival of America is at stake. The survival of small business and the middle class is at stake. It’s time to break out the nuclear weapon. It’s time for Trump.

If we conservatives agree, and maybe we don’t, that this now secular nation would never elect a VP like Ted Cruz as president, in 2020. The Republicans would outright join with Democrats to defeat him, for all the bad blood and hard feelings and old scores to be settled against him.

I don't think that Cruz is electable now but in 2020 or 2024, if he'd served as Trump's VP I think his chances would be very good.

In many of the head to head polls, Trump performs abysmally against Hillary while most of the rest of the candidate tie or beat her.

No he doesn't.

What Root says seems so obvious to me, I am surprised people do not get it.

What Root says is the first and last thing you need to know about this campaign.

It’s not pretty, but there is no reasonable alternative.

The only way to win is to conduct a relentless campaign of personal destruction against Hillary, including threats of indictment.

And the only person who can do that is Trump.

The last two elections, we had people (McCain and Romney) who would be savage against Republican conservative challengers, but then be complete wimps against the Dems. We need to reverse that.

We need somebody who will have no hesitation in biting Hillary's head off.

“Sorry folks, love him or hate him only Donald Trump has the chutzpah, audacity, street smarts, killer instincts and vicious lawyers to fight Hillary Clinton and win.”

Uh...what about gravitas, intelligence, being articulate, being completely informed, honest and being a true Conservative? Ted Cruz will eat Hillary for lunch.

Trump is not a Conservative, has no grace or finesse, speaks with a 15 year old’s vocabulary and says nothing beyond narcissistic sweeping generalizations.

Trump will have fun toying with Hillary, she has never faced serious opposition except for when it was foreordained that Obama was to be the one. She is less likeable than even Jeb. Her media lapdogs will be much less effective against Trump, especially when he is “speaking truth to power.”

I think anyone we nominate can beat Hillary Clinton... except for Jeb Bush.

If Jeb is the Nominee, I will vote for Hillary.

I believe that Mr. Root is correct.

Trump is NOT my ideal candidate in a theoretical sense (that would be Cruz). But a candidate must, in order to achieve his goals in office, actually be elected. That’s where I believe Root has hit the nail on the head.

Regretfully, we have reached the point in our formerly great former Republic where the naked exercise of power is all that appears to matter for the political classes. The power is so great that the temptation to acquire and keep it is overwhelming - ANYTHING can be justified in order to obtain it (well, for those with little or no moral compass - and that state of affairs pretty much defines the Clintons and the Obamas). More frightening than merely the temptation to power is the fact that those individuals that most other people would characterize as “bad” or “corrupt” or “evil” are attracted to power like moths to a light. They WANT to exercise power over others - and those people are the most dangerous of all, much more so than a drugged-up 20-something guy with a grudge who has a gun in a college classroom.

I think that it is safe to say that about 98% of the people on FR - a pretty involved and savvy group of political observers - believe that the Clintons would do ANYTHING they could to get Hillary up on the podium on 1/20/2017 to take the oath from John Roberts - ANYTHING. Committing crimes is not only not below their standards, it IS their standard so long as success follows and/or defeat doesn’t. Hillary has already basically murdered 4 people, including a U.S. ambassador whom she claims was a friend - probably to cover up some other operation. Lying under oath - clearly not a problem for either Bill or Hillary. Bribing or being bribed - normal course of daily living for them.

In short, the Clintons (and the Obama crew) are the mafia come to power (with a bit more polish, most of the time), not much different than the old Soviet Politburo. Oh, and the media is basically in their pocket - they WANT another Clinton presidency so bad that they can taste it.

So who can beat the combination of an utterly ruthless crime - uh, umm, err - political family with virtually total media backing? Only someone who is a tenacious fighter, used to winning knock-down, drag-out fights, someone who doesn’t care about any criticism, and who hits back 10 times as hard as he’s hit. He also needs to have vast resources - not just monetary (which most candidates can raise), but also in the form of connections to appropriate people to have on your side in a nasty fight. In this race, at this time, I think that the only person who qualifies is Trump. Cruz is a fighter, no doubt about it, but I don’t think that he’s got the depth of “appropriate people” resources like Trump does.

We’re in a war for our country - we need a warrior to fight for us. No, that’s not the way it is supposed to be, and I’m sure that the Founders are cringing somewhere at the state of the nation they created, but fighting and winning sure beats not fighting and having 8 more years of utterly corrupt and criminal leadership.

Sessions might be an excellent choice - there is surely nothing that requires a Veep candidate to come from the field of Presidential candidates. That would have the added advantage of leaving Cruz free to become Trump’s AG, and possibly later to fill a liberal’s seat on the Supreme Court.

Not a bad idea, not bad at all.

All of this is on our necks. You will be there. We all will be there.

Amen to that.

Otherwise, we are guaranteed HRC - and that will be the end of this country. There will be NO going back, no more than the Roman Republic could be restored after Nero or Caligula. Disaster does not breed a 180 degree turn, it breeds more disaster.

Please, Starstruck, remember Patton's axiom: "The Perfect is the enemy of the Good."

I’m starting to think that Trump is more interested in BECOMING president than in BEING president. He’s the boss of the “Art of the Deal”, so by becoming president, he would close the biggest deal of his career. What he does after that is less important to him; the deal maker is always looking for the next deal.

It will be Julian Castro; Mayor of San Antonio.

Yeah, regrettably it'll likely be him - the Latino Obama, complete with radical, anti-American mother.

I'm going to VOMIT if that happens; I'm from San Antonio, and I thought that when he moved to DC that it was simply payback for prior support. Nope, its 2 things: first, he's been at HUD placing immigrants in purple states, so as to turn them blue and, second, it is a stepping stone. He will be run by Valerie Jarrett in all likelihood, so I would expect that the Klintoons will keep him CLOSE, like any good mafia family.

Trump is not a conservative, so no thanks.

I’d rather nominate a real conservative like Cruz.

No, Trump is not a doctrinaire conservative. But I'd rather win with someone that actually gives a damn about this country and knows how to competently manage large organizations, vs. losing with my ideal candidate (and I like Cruz a LOT - I've contributed to his campaign, and I will vote for him HAPPILY). I just don't think that Cruz can win; Trump, being used to winning street fights, has a better chance to prevail.

Just my $0.02.

Obama was the end of the country and yet Freepers were not voting for McCain or Romney. I say the same thing Freepers said at the time. The Republican party must fall for the good of the country. Right?
