Students are still going to go to class, athletes are still going to participate in their sports. So...all that’s changed is, their widdle feelings won’t be hurt by a word anymore? Just shows what babies they were, needing to make the mean old man saying a mean word go away, before they could live their lives.
On the one hand, it’s terrible that they were able to force the President of a state university system to resign over nonsense like this.
On the other hand, any President who would bow to these demands and resign over nonsense like this is a spineless coward, so good riddance to him.
Just hope the Regents (or Trustees, or whatever term they use in the Missouri system) finds a solid replacement.
