Trump needs to let the Lord work the way the Lord will work and not interfere
Trump is obviously not evangelical, and evangelicals like him anyway ... but an active intrusion into Godly lives will bring him down
imo
Okay, first of all, SDA is not a Christian religion. I thought myself well informed about them before, but they, in fact, redefine the Trinity, and teach a form of Tri-Theism. IOW, three gods united in purpose. Second of all, the stupid pyramid stuff is not in the Bible, so don’t get Christianity mixed up with Carson’s loony stuff.
There are people who think Christianity is loony. They think its loony to believe in Creation. They think its loony to believe in the Flood. They think its loony that God talked thru a burning bush. They think its loony that Christ died for our sins. They think its looney that Christ rose from the grave and ascended into heaven.
We have in Trump an imperfect man and a country that needs sane leadership. I’ll work with what I got!
Throwing derogatory terms around, then youâre just trying to be crude, at best (and to no real meaningful ends.)
Yes and I support Cruz but reject this tactic.
Why in the world, if you’re supposedly a Conservative, would you be against Cruz, particularly to this degree?
Carson will be good for VP spot. Trump/Carson. We could play the race card on Democrats if they play the sexist card
Well, look, first off, it’s pretty bad when the only damning thing you can find about Ted is picking at his father’s credentials. His father isn’t running for anything. Nor is his wife. Second, I’m ignorant to how the title of pastor/reverend works anyway. I don’t know how one “earns” these titles, if only certain people can use them, etc.
Anyway, I don’t know where we’re going with this other than maybe you think Ted should cut ties with his father unless he proves he got an education somewhere official? Or he shouldn’t associate with him? I don’t think that’s reasonable.
Look, all I know is that for me personally, there are some lines a man can cross that show his true colors. Adultery is one of them. Again, we’re all flawed and imperfect, and I’m certainly not saying Trump is a bad person or deserves to be punished etc... I’m just saying I could never stand behind a person like that. Period.
You say Cruz is not honest about amnesty, but you support a man that made these quotes:
“The Republican Party will continue to lose presidential elections if it becomes mean-spirited and unwelcoming toward people of color”
“Republicans didn’t have anything going for them with respect to Latinos”
“Democrats [...] weren’t mean-spirited about [immigration]”
“[Romney] lost all of the Latino vote”

Now, I’m glad Trump has flipped on illegal immigration. That’s great. But don’t start calling other people dishonest when Trump just recently decided to come aboard himself.
As a Cruzer, I hope you are correct.
Errr, you do know that Ronald Reagan cheated on his first wife, don't you?
Sorry, but about the only candidate that won’t get WALKED OVER by the Democrats once in office is Trump. The best that Cruz, Carson, Santorium, or anyone else can do is what the Bush’s did, which was keep the seat warm in the Oval Office until the next Democrat got elected and moved the country further left.
And even Trump haters know that much is true.
There's no man on earth .... not even Reagan .. ever was nor will be
As an independent, fundamental Baptist (I'm against everything !), I've had to re-evaluate my perfect Lord vs my imperfect humanity and how did we ever be allowed to get THIS far ?
Every decision man has EVER made (except to accept Jesus as savior) was the wrong one .... think about THAT
“His wife...was a member of the CFR.”
Crap, didn’t know that. I have a HUGE PROBLEM with organizations that exist to save humans from themselves because they’re convinced that humans (other than them) are unable to make rational decisions as to who they elect and what policies they support.
And we see that especially in Europe, with at least 200,000 fighting-aged (and often war-hardened) men now entering every month. That’s 1000 full airplanes of people. And the response of the CFR types is to call people that see it as a threat to the European lifestyle a bunh of XENOPHOBES that need to be jailed.
Scary stuff.
Trump doesn’t need Carson, Cruz does.
>> But Carson is very effective as a vote splitter to block Cruz from winning Iowa and gaining traction.
You say that like it’s a good thing. You’re worried that with Carson out of the picture, Cruz will shine through as the God-fearing principled conservative that he is? Why would that bother you?
“...but I still think Trump is not in the race for the long haul.”
I think by now he would have quit if that were the case. And what would be the point? With $10B the guy could buy the southern island of New Zealand, move whoever he wants there and live out his life in luxury while the United States rots on the vine.
...but he didn’t.
I’m with you on Carson. Hard to see why a brain surgeon would feel the need to embellish his life story, over and over, again. Something seems a bit loose upstairs.
