Islam is one of the more prominent earthly faces of hell. We can’t permit hell to play its distraction and misdirection game upon us (the stock in trade of any stage magic illusionist, even though he engages no physical supernatural power). If we ever had the idea that if we physically banished Islam to oblivion we would have hell removed from the face of earth, hell would have succeeded in pulling such wool over our eyes. Hell’s expression on earth is like the fabled Medusa of many heads, which grew back and no physical attacker could ever chop all of them off.

The best battle will frankly acknowledge the supernatural aspect, the supernatural roots. It is even as simple (to start with) that what you elevate in earthly notice will be what garners more supernatural power. The devil must be snickering his most evil snicker at a world where people are buying the idea that public Christmas celebration — if it dares go beyond the Santa Clauses — is some harmfully radioactive thing. Christians ought to be better friends with Jewish people who want to show their Chanukah menorahs — a holiday that cameos in the New Testament. Crosses and stars of David should be seen all year round.

Of course Islamists will hate it, which you will like if that’s your area of concentration. But bringing more attention to the God of the Old and New Testaments will engage more of the power of this God, and that’s even before we talk about outright believers.

Perhaps one of our 10 megaton “sun Gods” could enlighten the smelly funny dressing vermin?

Or not...

I am willing to try.

:-)
