None of which changes the simple, basic facts. Carson said West Point offered him a slot. It did not.
Btw, you have no idea what my motives are. You would do well to stop misrepresenting them.
This is over,,,Carson made 3.5 million in donations because of it.
But I doubt it will stop the media from rooting around in his 1 st grade class to find some dirt that they can pretend is damaging..
They have already moved on to his Yale days...but you can see what they are doing..
Maybe he will tack on another 5-10 million...in donations.
Well, you are not saying what they are...maybe you don’t know, or maybe you do....I can be wrong, right or somewhere in the middle but I’m not the issue...Not running for or from anything.
Just a days work in defense of liberty and a healthy social compact that is under assault everyday.
Not entirely sure they did not play a roll. At the time, a black high achiever at West Point would have been the cats meow for the DOD. If they knew about him, they may have been pursuing him strongly...
I don't really know..Nor do you...
‘This is over’
That’s not your call to make. Carson has enough fuzzy, flaky and otherwise questionable comments out there to dog him for the rest of the primary. If you don’t think they will, you aren’t operating in reality.
I can’t do anything about the media.
But I can call you out for buying this crap.
BTW....I never gave Carson much of a chance to rise to the top, much less get the nomination. He’s not my type of candidate but certainly preferable to a few of them still in the race...
But I don’t expect him to last beyond the first few primaries..
‘But I can call you out for buying this crap.’
You’ve called me out for accurately quoting Carson.
Unimpressive.
The MSM IS, WAS, and ALWAYS HAS BEEN the PROBLEM!
Says you.....harhar
For the record, it’s ‘shoo in,’ not ‘shoe in.’
OK.......gotcha
It’s happened to me before. Rolled off like water off of a duck’s back, too.
Done.
That combat action and the phrase are immortalized in “The Longest Day”. I think for brevity of time, you can use the phrase “hold until relieved” and “the longest day” on youtube and find the scene.
A gift of a retentive memory has its downside (Lol), but another nugget— the actor who plays the Brit commando leader 20 years later, was in the 7th Brit battalion who took the bridge.
Please help those of us who are trying to follow the discussion. When we hit these grammar goofs, they're as distracting as fingernails on a blackboard or a needle skipping across a wonderful vinyl record. Just ouch!
Not taking sides here. Just begging for mercy as one who follows discussions with interest.
You sound like my college English prof....lol
I try to be grammatically correct and I try not to do fat fingered typing because it looks and reads like crap. But my Midwestern education has me spelling words like “potatoe”, and variety of other words that frankly at 65 years of age, if I have not corrected it by now, then it’s unlikely to happen before I cash in my chips.
Sorry about that.....If FR had a edit function, I would correct what auto correct missed after the post, but when in a discussion, I find it to be distracting to thoroughly proofread.
It’s how I roll, as they say or have said. Who/whomever they may be. (see, I corrected that run-on sentence..before posting...lol.)
Stop it now or I will make you a project.
You don’t want that.
Trust me.
