Govt rarely prosecutes itself ( or illegal immigrants). They find reasons to prosecute taxpayers and citizens because it doesn’t rock their cozy corrupt boat.

The govt has different standards of justice, depending on political dynasty, immigration status, gender, race, religion, celebrity, money, location.....in other words all the BS about equality is just that.
