Donald Trump is back in the lead in Iowa, according to a new CNN/ORC International poll. Trump wins 25 percent of likely Republican caucusgoers in the poll, compared to 23 percent for Ben Carson.
Those findings represent a much closer race between the two candidates compared to recent surveys that put Carson several points ahead.
Still, half of Iowa GOP voters in the CNN poll released Friday are still trying to decide on a candidate to support in the February caucuses. Twenty-seven percent have "definitely decided."
The latest CNN survey in Iowa finds Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) running in third place with 13 percent and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) following closely behind at 11 percent.

Well done.
:-)
Trump enjoys talking about his successes and what he will do to make things better.
Take it how you want it, but I want a leader who will boast about how awesome our country is, and what he’s done to make it better. If you are anesthetized to that, then perhaps listening to Carson’s campaign speeches is more your speed.
I just heard Trump’s radio ad, being played in Iowa as paid advertising, but played for free on a talk show in California.
The ad was a gem. It was if it was written by a Freeper. Yet it is gaining national support.
In less than five months by the end of March 2016 we’ll basically know the GOP
nominee. True the race goes on for a couple months with the Convention in July, 2016.
Somewhere is a FReeper (or maybe no longer with us) with the name “Perfect Rovian Storm.” I would imagine that name would be less than welcome in these parts nowadays.
Yep, today is D-day for the Trump’s first ads in Iowa, NH, and likely SC.
Just as with Carly’s fake meteoric rise and plunge, the “polls” are having to adjust Carson’s fake numbers before the reality of actual primary elections put the lie to the “polls”.
(AND/OR reality is catching up with the voters and they’re deciding they don’t want a President who engages in magical thinking, e.g., “Joseph built the pyramids to store grain in”.)
“Itâs like a pyramid scheme.”
Good one. I’ll be stealing that pronto!
I enjoy listening to Trump. I laugh through most of his speeches. He is very engaging and funny and comfortable in his own skin. But, his style is not a “winning” style to women voters in the middle and lean categories. Just my opinion, and I hope I am wrong since I like Trump. I think he would do a fine job as President. But, he has the potential more than any other candidate in the field to ostracize himself from large voting blocs with a stupid remark or two (or dozen) because he is already seen by many as such a talkative, arrogant, loudmouth, know-it-all.
Yeah, I remember that freeper. LOL!
This won’t last long. Between the made up West Point story and the Pyramids were built to store grain Ben is going to fade to black.
Some Freeper predicted that by Christmas Carson would be at 7.5 % and I concur.
But but but HOW can this be? Trump is fading, right Mister Lying piece of dog crap media guy?
Stay tuned. More to come.
The Iowa Caucus is less than three months away.
I see what you did there.
“Stay tuned. More to come.”
Definitely!!!
