According to Merced County Sheriff, the document detailed a list of targets and his intentions. The sheriff said the college freshman planned to tie students to their desks and draw police into the classroom where he planned on stabbing a police officer, taking his gun and then using it to shoot students in a dorm.
According to the manifesto, Faisal was upset over getting kicked out of a study group and mad at a student. The sheriff also said he praised Allah in his writings.

What clearly relates it to terrorism is that for the past two months, palestinians have been stabbing anywhere they can in Israel. This has been the terror of choice, and it is obviously a conspiracy to do it. Why? Because stabbing just hasn’t been part of their terrorist arsenal until just recently.

Looks as though the folks at Cal spoke way too soon! But hey, things haven’t changed at all since I graduated from Berkeley in 1965, or back when my folks moved here in 1936 and the Cal profs were then claiming that they were going to make Berkeley the first openly Communist City in the country.
