Sometime in the near future, a transgender teenager in Texas will attempt suicide - and maybe succeed - because vilifying people for their gender identity remains politically acceptable in America.
The hateful rhetoric of leaders like Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is the latest, ugliest example. Mr. Patrick was ebullient on Tuesday night after it became clear that Houston voters had decidedly rejected a broad equal rights ordinance that opponents maliciously and misleadingly characterized as a boon for cross-dressing sex offenders.

I suggest they send their daughters into women’s restrooms where 1/2 the people in the stalls are perverts claiming to be “gender confused.”
Unless I am greatly wrong, suicide is a personal choice based on how you view yourself, not the death-blow delivered by someone who views you differently. I have little compassion for a pervert in this matter.
Well, at least the freak would serve as a useful example:
1) Gender confusion is a mental illness, and could lead to suicide
2) If you don't conform to norms that reflect God's plan for creation, you will suffer
