Sometime in the near future, a transgender teenager in Texas will attempt suicide - and maybe succeed - because vilifying people for their gender identity remains politically acceptable in America.
The hateful rhetoric of leaders like Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is the latest, ugliest example. Mr. Patrick was ebullient on Tuesday night after it became clear that Houston voters had decidedly rejected a broad equal rights ordinance that opponents maliciously and misleadingly characterized as a boon for cross-dressing sex offenders.

“Sometime in the near future, a transgender teenager in Texas will attempt suicide - and maybe succeed”
What’s wrong with that? It’s one less liberal democrat.
So NYT, any consideration to the idea that maybe one pervert or rapist might use this law to gain access to a ladies room?
One? LOL i meant THOUSANDS.
No, didn’t think so.....
FU you POS RAG
Right on, and their leftist supporters are throwing tantrums. I love it!
Then, the same day this ordinance failed, there is a school where a boy with male sexual organs, says he is a girl, and the US government tells the school he must be allowed to undress in the girls locker room, and they have 30 days to let this happen or the US govn. will cut off their federal money. Not good.
Saw on twitter:
“Is there a way to be on the right side of history without it involving something shoved up your arse?”
Well, if the transgender males go in to the business of selling sperm to lesbian buddies, if dead the market might dry up
FYI - You live in a bubble, most Americans refute your ideoligy!
I can think of something that should be cut off and it ain’t money.
Dear Times: we hate being hated, yes. We don’t hate people, we dislike silly ideas.
I just don’t want any competition at the urinal from any bull dykes.
Don’t mess with daddy, I got more range and accuracy.
I hate to break it to the author, but a LOT of people have in the past, are now, and will in the future commit suicide because they find themselves frustrated when their insanity is not accepted by the rest of the population. And these same people are likely to commit suicide and engage in other harmful behaviors for any frsutration they have, not just that from not being embraced.
Why is this a reason to humor them?
As Sheriff David Clarke told Geraldo_Rivera, "Deal With It!"
I never was able to discern how the ordinance was supposed to be fair to anyone other than men who, portrayed themselves as women.
The ads showed blacks and Hispanics and a man in a clerical collar smiling about the passage of the ordinance but not a word about what it would do for them.
In Houston, despite pro-gay, PC perversions of the 14th Amendments equal protections clause, legal majority voters exercised their 10th Amendment-protected power to trump minority voters over an issue that the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect.
Notice how they linked the word ‘hate’ and ‘Trump’?................
In politics, there are no coincidences..............
I wouldn’t be surprised if the high suicide rate they refer to is mostly that of people who have undergone the surgery only to find that mutilating themselves hasn’t solved their problems.
And then one day for no particular reason, we became offended by everything.
“Is paranoia a Trump supporter trait?”
Is being completely unaware of satire and being an asshat a Cruz supporter trait?
