Security at Sharm is laughable at best. They take you out on the tarmac with your luggage, and match you with it, searching as they see fit. I’ve watched burka clad humans with no skin visible boarding aircraft. The baggage handlers? Who knows.
To say the system would be easily infiltrated is obvious.
Up to 15,000 Brits are now stranded at Sharm as all departing flights are on hold and all have been told to stand by to leave, hotels are on high security.
