I can’t for the life of me figure why the good folks of Virginia elected this grifter in the first place?
A victory for common sense.
I am sitting in a house of delegates district that must look really weird on a map because it goes from the middle of Stafford County up into Woodbridge which is pretty far away. It looks like the Republican took the seat by 150 votes out of 11,000. He got 66% of the Stafford vote and 35% of the PW county vote.
He ran on gun control! Political suicide.
Senate Minority Leader Richard L. Saslaw (D-Fairfax), meanwhile, held out hope that the results could change. He said he suspected irregularities in a Richmond-area race won by the GOP because Republican turnout was so heavy.
âThere may be some irregularities going on in Powhatan County,â he said. As of late Tuesday night, Democrat Dan Gecker had not conceded to his opponent, Glen Sturtevant.
The governor hinted that the vote counting wasnât over.
They are back to their old tricks.
We also had to produce photo i.d. for the first time...makes it harder to game the system. Also the localities in Virginia are now using paper ballots/optically scanned in place of the black box digital ones.

Virginia was one of the states mention in the 250 page report issued by the INdiana Secretary of State when he decertified a certain electronic voting machine before the 2012 election. Looks like they got the message late but at least they got the message. We switched to your current system just before 2012 election. Our election clerk who first discovered the black box problem has recently accepted a position with the paper ballot machine company to work several states.
Things are happening! YEAH!
Looking at my district map, I don’t even know how I was assigned the district I am in. Completely gerrymandered up the 95 corridor, but my house isn’t close to being within the boundaries.
Because the establishment republicans did not want a conservative elected, Ken Cuccinelli.
We didn’t. It was close enough to steal so in great Rat tradition, they did.
Because enough of the bad folks elected that Clintonoid in the first place,
The Republican establishment in Virginia is putrid. We had a senator, John Warner, who actively recruited a “Republican” ex-attorney general to run against Oliver North as an independent to siphon off enough votes to elect Demo Chuck Robb. Mr. John Warner then had the gall this past year to not only endorse the Democrat Mark Warner over his relatively mild Republican opponent, Ed Gillespie, but to actually make a tv commercial endorsing Mark Warner for senate reelection, who ended up winning by less than one percent of the vote!! There is a reason Richard Nixon is caught on tape when challenged over picking some political type as Navy Secretary: “Hell, any a******* can do that job; we even had John Warner doing it”.
And yet, the voters in VA elected McAuliffe governor. go figure...
Jon Corzine is hopeful for a comeback.
Northern Virginia government tools upset over the 2013 government shutdown.
Thank God!
Immigrants from northern states feeding off the federal government have totally transformed Northern Virginia.

because terry needs to be governor as a platform from which to run for president silly
If a POS like Obama, with all of his far left anti-American baggage, can get twice elected president nothing should surprise us. We really need to find a cure for stupidity. Seems that is the only thing that can save us at this point.
