Interesting article. When I was growing up (in the 80s and 90s) I remember most Asians I met were Republicans. I was stunned when I saw the statistics from 2012. This article proves I wasn’t crazy. Asians used to largely vote Republican. What the hell happened?
This is no mystery. During the GHWB administration, legal immigration was increased from 500,000 to 800,000 and has been around 1,1000,000 for the past decade. In the decades since 1992, millions more Asians have immigrated to the US and recent immigrants simply gravitate toward the Dims, including Asians.
The Dims have been importing voters in large numbers for more than two decades, and in lesser numbers before that.

An additional factor is that young Asians get easily caught up in our materialist, shallow pop culture. And I mean REALLY caught up. Their heroes become the shallow pop icons who are also activist liberals. So they wind up with the Asian work ethic and traditional personal values, but with liberal political and social values and this is how they vote. My wife is the odd conservative in her family.
It’s too bad the media never does its homework.
Like with Choe:
1. His parents are from South Korea. That means that Choe, even if born in the U.S., is a Korean citizen under Korean law.
2. If you go to Choe’s blogsite, you will see it is in hangul (Korean) as well as in English.
3. He talks on his blogsite about interning for the National Assembly of Korea (their Congress). I suspect not a job that Americans could get.
4. He was asking Trump questions about South Korea. It wasn’t racist for Trump in the circumstances to ask if he was from Korea.
5. Choe acts big, but the fact is he probably closely monitors how long he stays in Korea when he goes there. As a Korean citizen, if he stays too long (believe it is 3 months) he will be grabbed and put in the Korean army (mandatory draft).
It’s taking a while, but at least SOME ASIANS are figuring out that their children ARE THE FIRST to get bumped out of top colleges, so as to make room for unqualified blacks and Hispanics.
Too bad the Republican Party is TOO STUPID to also figure this out and instead keeps pandering to Illegals.

You need to break down the Asian groups further. East Asians are smarter, but Asians include Pakistan/India/Indonesia and other Muslim countries
