Ordaining women means you have to completely ignore the Scripture pertaining to it. It comes to the point where you have to avoid anything in Scripture that points out errors in the church.

That slope is awfully slippery.

Oh, them. What a bunch of kooks. I suspect they got their hands on someone I care for. He now has no faith in God, nor even a belief in His existence, because God didn’t behave as those kooks said He would, so “obviously” He can’t be real.

So God the Father who clearly addressed homosexuality as an abomination was suddenly cool with it and told his Son not to address it since He had changed His mind and this sin was no longer a sin? If you take away the Old Testament how do you get to the New Testament and it have any meaning?

And Christ clearly addressed marriage between a man and woman in Matthew. There are also numerous passages in the New Testament which talk of the reprobate mind.

By the logic that Paul was fallible and sinned the entire Bible should be ignored because the books were written by men which were fallible and they all sinned. Even the words in red should be ignored because they were written by fallible men and they could have changed the words or meaning.
